Looks like TBS has the movies for the Halloween weekend (and Halloween night). I turned on the TV and they were just starting them up.
Late post, with the Rogue One red carpet premiere this weekend TNT was showing the prequels. Looks like next weekend, Rogue One opening, TNT is showing the OT and PT Saturday and Sunday. So enjoy a whole weekend of Star Wars.
Caught the start of TPM on TNT this morning on the TV at the gym. Looks like they're doing an all day marathon today and part of the day tomorrow.
Last night I went to TNT, and they did not have any of the Warz playing. In fact, no channel had any Warz stuff. I would have thunk the 40th anniversary would have garnered some special on some channel or at least a repeat of past ones you know?
Heh, I did the same thing. Then I thought "oh, it's a holiday weekend...maybe Sat/Sun/Mon marathon". Nope. Just a couple of random afternoon showings next Tuesday.
Flipping past and saw a commercial for some random showings on TNT. Revenge of the Sith Sunday at 4PM followed by Empire Strikes Back at 7PM. Totally random.
Looks like it's another Star Wars weekend on TNT (I wonder why). Looks like they're having more showings next weekend too
i watched Episode IV on sunday afternoon. it was the special edition version, but still better than watching football.
Nice! I'd take the Special Editions over SportsBall any day. Speaking of, we may have to watch the superbowl if we want to see the Solo trailer-- at least, if internet rumors are to be believed. Best, Jammies
I missed posting up the Star Wars marathon on Easter; they even played The Force Awakens. But all is not lost, they'll be playing a couple of the movies tonight as a lead in to the big SPORTball game. I guess they want to have as big an audience as possible leading into the SPORT show.
Another marathon weekend on TNT. But maybe not for much longer if rumors are to be believed? https://io9.gizmodo.com/disney-reportedly-wants-the-star-wars-broadcast-rights-1828081201
Looks like another random marathon weekend coming. Really nice to have these playing in the background as I do chores or putter around the house.
I have to confess, it's also nice to take a nap on the couch to. Very comforting and relaxing, takes me back to my childhood. And always sweet dreams.
Stumbled across another marathon going on this weekend. I really should look at the upcoming schedule so I can post it early.
Looks like TBS has the honor of showing the Saga this holiday weekend. Enjoy it before Disney pulls everything to their Disney Plus channel.
And it's not like I don't have them all on VHS/DVD/BluRay/Digital already. But I'll miss having it run in the background back to back to back for hours. Haven't figured out how to get my DVD to do that.
No Disney Plus? No Problem. TNT has you covered all weekend with another marathon starting Friday night. I wonder why they chose this weekend?
Heh, there's at least one other Star Wars fan at work. Went to lunch yesterday and someone had turned the TV in the cafeteria to the TNT marathon. Got to watch a little Rogue One. There's another small marathon this next weekend right before TNT premieres The Last Jedi on Sunday 12/29.
