Asajj Ventress and a Jedi initiate :: luggage compartment :: whining

How exactly are you defining a "Jedi initiate"? One who is in the early stages of Padawan-ism? One who has been identified but not yet received training?

I've started working on this, but realized that I may not be interpreting the 'initiate' properly.

For me an initiate is a child in the Temple who has not yet been chosen as a Padawan, so anything just brought to whenever he/she is chosen (or 13 and unchosen and therefore sent to one of the corps).

What about a child not quite at the temple yet? I began writing the story with a parent taking the child to Coruscant (destination being the Temple). That is, the child is chosen for training, or perhaps the testing.

    Does that count? [face_batting]

Not that I couldn't find a way around it...

I would be interested to see what you might come up with for this one. Kudos if you can have Qui and Corran interacting, both alive somehow. (Or maybe even both dead...that would be interesting...)

mesa be doing dis one later, for sure. that one tickles something... it may not be short however, that's for sure.

thinking about this i'm probably going to have them interact both alive and dead... i've been wanting something that is concievably epic in scope, methinks this may qualify.

Just popping in to let you know I have the outline for the challenge I accepted... It's gotten even bigger than I antcipated... It may end up being a 30 chapter epic type thing. That plot bunny REALLY got me.
