Wow, so much to speculate on! There seems to be a bit of red in there, could we be returning to Malachor? Is it Vader's reddish eye?

Okay in all seriousness, it's a joke on how, as Grey Matter quoted, in another thread I joked that I would take the top corner of a season 3 image over no Rebels content at all.

 

That shot looks fake to me. Check your sources people.

Seeing these images and gifs reminds me how good the animation is on this show. Really hope there is an even bigger budget for Season 3. With the money Disney made from The Force Awakens, it wouldn't hurt to give Dave Filoni more money for this amazing show!

 

If there could be a Hondo and Vader meeting i Rebels without Hondo immediately being killed by Vader it would be amazing.
