Why wouldn't we get a trailer? We have next to no footage from anything for the rest of the season. It was also around this time last year we got it. I'm sure we'll see one soon. I am soooooo hyped.

 

Same. The wait is pretty crazy lol. But I'm sure it'll be worth it. I can't wait to see all the Mando stuff.

 

He's actually serious, I bet. He's made it clear in the past he has no say or idea what they do in the marketing department. He had no idea when Rogue One trailers would drop either.

I'm now believe ing the trailer will hit tomorrow, since today is a public holiday off.

 

I'm hoping for a little glimpse of a dark Ezra finally happening. Maybe a quick shot of Kanan and Ezra facing each other

I remember being hype for that seeing the trailers with clips from Visions and Voices. And then, the fight wasn't really between Kanan and Ezra because of Kanan's possession. Ezra's moved back closer to Kanan through the first half of this season; he was really drifting to the Dark Side during the time skip. And, rather than being a Dark Side mentor to rival Kanan in Ezra's life, Maul's lost Ezra's respect and apprenticeship by treating Ezra's friends badly and prioritizing the Holocron vision as the most important thing in life.

IMO, This seems to be part of Ezra's plight, and another reason he is destined to fail against the Empire. Luke had the benefit, albeit brief, of two great Jedi to guide him. Ezra meets two powerful Force users in Maul and Ahsoka, but neither of them is willing/able to put down their own personal quests to really help the boy grow as a Force user.

One thing I would like to see this in this trailer is Thrawn talking to Gar Saxon. Nothing happening really, just the men meeting with each other. Something to give the impression that Thrawn is done with the research phase of addressing the Ghost Crew, and is now beginning to pull resources together to target the specific members he's learned about. Speaking of Thrawn, I'd also like to see a shot of Kallus looking abjectly terrified. "Will Kallus survive?" is a question that could weave through several episodes and provide some much-needed tension to the season.

 

IMO we're getting the trailer during the Star Wars Show.

I'm catching up with Rebels on Amazon Prime - there's 11 episodes on there, is that the whole season or are their episodes still to come?

Maybe we have all already seen the trailer and it was so amazing and mindblowing that our brains couldn't handle it and we forgot about it ?

 

That's gotta be it, there's really no other reason we wouldn't have seen it by now.

 

I still can't believe the trailer isn't out yet. It's got to be today.
