    SoL: same. more like jeans-and-sweatshirt-everyday

Well this time of year sweatshirts are nice! I dress like that everyday also, I'm dressing up if I manage to get my contacts in these days (of course I can't see with them, because the Rx is to weak) :p

Edit: Yeah I wasn't real thrilled with it either, Jon!

Here's one I found: "He's an impetuous zombie card shark haunted by memories of 'Nam."
A gambling zombie with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder! Now that's something for the movies!!

After I finish up my essay on how the NJO screwed up, i might do one on the DN< mav, but that one might take a while. I'd need to recover from rereading the NJO...

I am rereading it, but not all the way through. It's... legit painful for me. I got into the EU in 1995, at the lowest point of my life, and it did a bit to alleviate my mood and provide a sanctuary from real life. When the NJO came along and threw it all into the garbage, let's just say it got me mad.

And you do not want to see me mad.

Glad you aren't rereading it all, I was gonna ask why you would do a think like that! No, I wouldn't want to make you mad! *Shies away*

    Totally random topic change:

Has anyone seen Reefer Madness The movie musical? (*crosses fingers *Hoping I can say that) It is an awesome movie!
    I just got my DVD! [face_dancing] But I kid you not, the inside smells like chocolate! 8-}

    Edit: 'Night SoL!

^^Don't tempt me to write it! I've already got drafts of KOTOR: The Musical in the works. :p And by drafts, I mostly mean a whooole lot of notes. And a few songs. :D Sing with me now, "I am the model of the leader of the clans of Mandalore..."

    Good night, SoL.

I haven't reread all of it, mav, but I must, to fully document how Del Rey got the ball, dropped it and kicked it down the sewers... And don't worry, I waon't get mad at you. :)

Hey, DWH. KOTOR: The Musical? Awesome! *Sings along*

That was DN, I said nothing about NJO...:p

I haven't seen that musical, but I am looking for to NJO: The Musical!
Now there is a scary thought!

I've never seen the stage version of Reefer Maddness, but the movie is awesome! It makes fun of a 1930's propaganda film (Aptly titled Reefer Madness). On the surface it is about drugs, but it really isn't, it is much more political.
The most defining quote from it comes from the character playing FDR,
"When dangers near, exploit their fear."

But it is absolutely hillarious, one of my favorie quotes is in my signature!

ok RK. Now you've got me started!

The NJO neutered Luke and DN put him out his misery.

Forget musicals, where's my funeral dirge. Poor Luke. **hangs head in ****

    Good night all!:)

That will be one of the themes, brodiew, on how the main characters seemed to be on prozac for most of the series.

And how Coruscant fiddled while the Outer Rim burned. Shall I even bring up the deus ex machina known as Zonoma Sekot? Or the utter ludicrousness of the Vong bio-tech?

Suspension of disbelief only goes so far for certain series. The Vong went way past ludicrous into just plain stupid.

[face_laugh] That made me think of Space Balls...I can just see Zonoma Sekot at ludicrous speed! :p

But I completely agree, although Ben being born durring NJO did make me happy!

Is the NJO highly regarded by most people? I couldn't stomach many of the books, especially when I read Vector Prime and learned what happened to Chewie.

I've read that the entire series sold 4 million books total. All 19 books in total. And sales fell by 1/3 to 1/2 by the end.

Heir to the Empire alone sold 1 million books. One single book sold about a quarter as the entire NJO...

Some people like it. Some people don't. I hate it.

Don't know, since I never bother to read 'em.
But I do know this: I just found the perfect pairing for my Shell Shocked Zombie lead -

    " She's a sharp-shooting antique-collecting stripper with a flame-thrower."
No more need be said. Perfect.

Leona: The plot outline from www.imdb.com -

"An outrageous tongue-in-cheek musical comedy adaptation of the classic 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film"
