I open up everything these days!

 

How are you supposed to play, er, I mean display your figures properly if you keep them in the box?

 

In reality I'm not going to be reselling it, I'm buying these dolls for my own enjoyment so I will be taking Ani and future figures I buy out of their box even though the doll collector in me screams 'NO' LOL!

Bespin Han.... ?


and i was so hoping for an ANH han, too. with like, interchangable pilot glove hands, and a storm trooper blaster exclusive.

but han in the bespin outfit is a little out of left field. like putting out a "snow-covered hoth version" chewie before the classic. sure, it's cool, but i'd definatley buy classic han over bespin han.

 

Sideshow said they wouldn't release any 12" figures in the same outfits as done in their 1/4 scale line until well after the release of the 1/4 scale character. Since they just did ANH Han for that line (and ANH Leia, as well), a Bespin Han doesn't surprise me at all. Bring him on!

Well so far he looks better than Hasbro's versions. Can't wait to see what his face looks like

 

I'm a little disappointed.

 

Why? Everyone was assuming that Han would be one of the first characters?

 

I don't know. I understand if they don't want to cross wires with the 1/4 and 1/6 versions, but really Han Solo should have been wearing his vest. I think the only way this would appeal to me would be if the exclusive version came with a sculpture of him frozen in carbonite.

 

I really don't see THAT as being the exclusive I'm thinking maybe more along the lines of including a pair of binders. I don't know why you're upset, we got ROTJ Luke first instead of ANH Luke, so what's the difference?

Actually I'm happy it's a Bespin Han. The only time Hasbro did one they used that horrible sculpt of him w/ the block head and snarly face mold. I currently have that outfit on a Vintage 12" Han Solo because their figure was so ugly! I'll be seriously excited for him to come! Besides by giving us the ESB Han, it gives us something to look forward to in the future w/ getting another younger ANH Han

 

Don't get me wrongo, I have great faith in Sideshow.

I'm not upset. I am just not as interested in a Bespin Han Solo as I would be in a Luke X-Wing Pilot or something. No big deal. I forget, do they give us any more to go on besides that hard to see pic before these go on sale? Will we know better what he'll look like and what his accessories are? If he's ultra cool I might still be interested.

I know the Carbon block is never going to happen, but perhaps a Mynock?

 

I'll have to see his face first! I'm not too impressed at this point...

 

Apparently they confirmed that the bonus item will be a mynock.

 

Just about every one of their pre-orders are at that time.... if you want one try to schedule a break or have someone else get one for you.

In that tiny little picture, Han looks more like Dr. Giggles!

I think a Bespin Han is a great idea since we don't see many figures of him in that outfit. The 'Empire' costumes are my favorite in the entire saga (Of course, so is the movie itself )

Maybe this will mean a Bespin Luke is around the corner.

 

Just thought I hope they get round into doing a jabbas palace bib fortuna would just look so cool

I think it's awesome they're doing Han in that outfit, since it's always been my favorite one that he wore. Yeah, his ANH outfit is a classic, but you don't see too many items of him in this one, so it's something different.

 

Looks like I called that one. (not that it wasn't too obvious)

I'm still not sure if that makes him a worthy entry into my little collection.
