Well, hey, I got my 2 at Celebration II; no more, no less.

 

I was referring to his Jorg Sacul collection Mike.

Unfortunately, I was not able to be at Celebration II. So, that is one collectable that may be out of my reach. And that guy has five on his wall? Some people just do not know when enough is enough.

Back on topic, the bubbles on his Gunship do look rather impressive. But I'll just be glad when I can set my Gunship up, no matter how big the bubbles are.

Well, after a succesful run at a target, I managed to pick up the Durge with Swoop Bike and the New Clone Trooper with Speeder Bike!

I have the black and white Command Gunship. It's not TEH Gunship, but it still rocks

 

Tell me again why Hasbro didn't just make the bubble turrets for the Gunships?

 

Because they want you to buy more of the Clone pilot figures so that you have both bubble turrets on each side of the Gunship. That way there's more money in their pockets!

 

That's fine, I'm all for free enterprise. But why not make a deluxe clonetrooper with Bubble Turret to attach to the Gunship?

At the very least everyone will have to buy two for their ships. And if they bought both versions of the gunships, that's four deluxe bubble turret Clonetroopers they'll need.

Ummmm, have you never seen this figure or something? 'Cuz what you're describing sounds exactly like that figure (which has been out for two years).

 

That's the Clonetrooper Pilot, and I have four of them. You'll notice that he does not include the Bubble turret as seen in AotC. Instead we get some sad looking version of the laster gun he used. How hard would it have been to include a clear plastic container to attach to the ship to make it more movie-like. To me it's a glaring error in an otherwise perfect toy.

 

Rol, the gun that come with the pilot does attach to teh gunship!

My $.02:
Lego did a pretty good job with the gunship (bubble turrets and all).

 

As I've said, I have those, and two of them are attached to my Gunship. But their inaccurate. Their little ball cannons, not full bubble turrets as seen in the movie.

 

Ahh, so your beef with them is that they're not big enough? (I was obviously confused. )

Agreed... Sort of. They're in scale with the rest of teh gunship, which works fine for me. A bubble that could fit a clonie would disproportionately huge in relation to teh gunship.

I guess Hasbro had to make a choice: Make the bubbles accurate to the clonetrooper figures, or accurate to teh gunship. I'm glad they chose the latter, I guess.

Yup, me too. I'm happy with the turrets. Had they come with gigantic clear turrets for the clones to fit in, it would have thrown the entire gunhsip off. I guess they could have made a bigger gunship, but I'm happy with it already... it's big. Really big. Like, whoa.
