ST TFA Trailer (#3)

the TPM soundtrack was responsible for one of the biggest spoilers at the time , I made the mistake of reading the track listings before seeing the movie !

 

The biggest spoiler was the actual film, the JW score was excellent, the film didn't do it justice!

 

Same here...and you couldn't drag me into a spoiler forum back then. I was 110% anti-spoiler before TPM came out. I even had the opportunity to read the opening crawl once, and I didn't.

 

The force is strong with this one, I concur

 

One week, still can't get enough of the Trailer.

 

I loved how literal the track listings were, too


"THIS IS THE PART WHERE QUI-GON DIES"
"THE FUNERAL FOR QUI-GON BECAUSE HE DIED REMEMBER"
"THE SONG THAT PLAYS AFTER THE FUNERAL FOR QUI-GON WHO IS DEAD"

 

Nah, they'll just be 30-second versions of what we've already seen, quick clips taken from the two teasers and the full trailer. Nothing new.

 

Of course they could release music snippets without spoilers. They don't have to release the track listing to put some music out to hear.

It was totally Chewie Rey is crying over in the trailer.

This picture shows it. There is an object obstructing the view on the left. But just to left of Rey's left arm you can see Chewie's mouth and nose. The object on the left appears to be a bag of some sort. Chewy appears to be lying on his back so you just see the profile of his mouth and nose. I thought it was fur at 1st, but that confirms nothing as they are in a winter environment and it could just be some sort of jacket.

 

I'm still surprised they showed that clip!!

The trailer spoiled NOTHING!!!

Only people overanalyzing every vague frame spoiled THEMSELVES!!

Overanalyzing leads to spoiling yourself! I never do that, if I don't like to be spoiled.

 

I see a Human laying down you could see the hair on the top of his head and he is wearing a Leather Jacket, most likely it is Han?

 

JJ's gonna try to damage control this!

 

Hardly. It's debatable whether it's Han, Finn or Chewie. Personally, I think it's Finn.

 

I feel like it's supposed to be a red herring. No way would they put that in the trailer if it included a huge spoiler.

 

Nah Han's already dead, the person in that scene is alive and will survive its Finn

 

Really love this shot in the trailer.

 

If is Chewie it mean he will recover but if is Han... :X

No. What you see is vague, and not certain. When trailers do that it's NOT actually a spoiler, IMO.

You can get it right, of course based on guessing it right, but that doesn't mean that JJ spoiled you.

People complain about trailers spoil them mostly do it to themselves, by overanalyzing every frame for God's sake!

 

Yeah I think it's Finn too. This is probably the point where Rey is about to pick up the lightsaber and fight Kylo.

 

That would be my guess.

 

Somebody posted a still with the brightness and contrast tweaked bigtime and it is clearly not Chewie and is almost definitely Finn.
