Now my TV week is finally complete. Man I missed this show.

 

Did anyone else catch the 'Dead Like Me' reference with Happy Time Temp Agency?

 

I will have to watch for this to be uploaded onto abc.com. I have missed the show. I loved Dead Like Me I will watch for the reference.

 

I laughed my head off at Olive doing the Sound of Music.


And Vivian is Ellen Greene from Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey). I wonder if they will do some take offs of that show in this one. The style would fit right in.

 

First Season 2 episode finally uploaded to ABC.com.... I love that thing, I hate having to be at a certain place at a certain time, and with this I can have my pie and eat it too, so to speak, hehe.

While there wasn't a big deal about Chuck's dad made in this episode, I kinda felt like it was there in the subtext-- a bit of space between Ned and Chuck and her still having to figure out where she fits in and how close she'll really be to Ned (what I interpreted as the mental part of her using Olive's space, maybe I'm putting in things that weren't there though). It's also part of the culture of secrets that Olive is trying to escape, even though it's not one she's privy to (although she is now privy to other secrets about him!!). But I understand, no it's not a big part of the episode or drove Ned and Chuck apart too much... I think she seems to have mostly forgiven him by the end of the last season 1 episode, she does know that he lost his mom too after all and it wasn't exactly intentional. Plus she's had years to deal with the direct impact, it's not like he told her right after the fact.

...Anyway, I might be wrong on that but that's how I interpreted it, moving on. It was indeed very funny to see the 'Sound of Music' Olive reference, and I love the tension that her friendship with Chuck has. On the one hand, she's her friend and protects her even when she's hiding from Ned. On the other hand, she thinks Chuck is a con-woman and knows she's using her to drug her maiden aunts, and lying about it

 

I do love Olive's relationship with Chuck's aunts, especially with Aunt Vivian. She's had an affect on them, that's actually pulled them out of seclusion.

I'm also very curious about the appearance of Ned's father at the end. He looked very mysterious from behind. I wonder if he shares the same gift that Ned has, and if that may be a factor in why he left Ned as when he was a child.

 

Ah, clown car jokes, timeless.

I'm convinced that the season finale cliffhanger is going to be one of the aunts walking into The Pie Hole and seeing Chuck. The last few seconds will be a close-up of her face as she says "Charlotte?"

 

Hey! Was that Pintel from Pirates of the Caribbean as the Circus manager?

 

I totally saw the clown thing coming, but laughed my head off.
Especially at the stilt walker.
And the swearing at the convent.

 

I liked how they spoofed the speed-ramping from 300 in this last episode.

 

Chuck and Olive stuck in a locker, finally having a heart to heart = awesome!

 

It appears the show is in trouble ratings-wise.

Does someone want to tell me the very ending of last Thursday's episode? I lost internet during the last 5 minutes and never found out who did the thing and whatnot.

 

I actually started watching the ending just for you, but it's too complicated for me to summarize.

 

Also, someone tell me why Chuck dropped her clothes at the end of 2.04.

 

Either you are full of mockery and deceits, or you are a lazy foo! Tell me what happens! I would watch it myself, but I can't get the video to go to the ending without sitting through the whole thing again (and all the illegal links to the show are dead).
