To be fair, Ben, it's no more farcical than the entire affair. They're no real mechanism to prevent a Donald Trump from getting to where he is now. There's no mechanism to stop the tory Democrats from rigging the system to keep Sanders on the back foot. There's no chance of a third party having any real say in government, by holding balance of power in one of the houses.

A shooter, typifying the systemic issue with firearm control, is quite frankly only remarkable now because there's only one. Otherwise it's somewhat - depressingly - expected.

 

That is because you Brits live in a left-wing dystopia where you don't have the Second Amendment to protect your rights from the horrible government!
