Also Yord is low-key hilarious.

 

You have seen the promo trailers i assume. There will be tons of lightsabers.

 

I thought both episodes were really good but we’ll see how the mystery turns out. I’m going to be really disappointed if the Sith master isn’t Darth Plagueis at this point.

 

I am curious do you not like Andor either? Genuinely asking

 

Yes I’ve seen it. Not much else about it interest me at this point. I ll probably keep watching though just for the Squid Games Jedi. He was alright.

 

Tired is also super sexy

 

Good stuff, though I was not exactly blown away.
I am still waiting to see how the story unfolds.
So far, so good. There are many positives, and a few negatives.

Amandla Sternberg is not a good actress :/
This show could have benefitted a lot from a lead role that would play better.
Lee Jung-jae and Dafne Keen are definitely stealing the show.

I suppose we will be seeing Carrie Ann Moss and Dean Charles Chapman in flashbacks, possibly more than one.

PS1. If this show somehow ends up portraying the Jedi as the bad guys, it will rank only above the sequels in my list.
PS2. I am hoping for better direction/story in the next episodes. I don't think direction is Headland's strong suit.

I also think Stenberg is doing a really good job.

 

She was great in both roles.

 

I do think it’s very neat to have someone playing two characters

I had to fight the urge to not make the call when that Wookie showed up.

Im also mildly curious how they justify the floating Jedi. That is supposed to be impossible from what I remember but this ain’t old SW anymore.

Too early for Plagueis to be master and apprentice soon, either a new Sith master or Darth Tenebrous.

Another solid episode. Liked seeing the jedi outpost. Seeing Torbin in meditation floating was intresting. Nice Seeing Kelnacca. Yord, Sol and Jecki remain my favorites.

 

The meditating Torbin was interesting. Again the Jedi are being portrayed as true investigators using the Force for guidance. However it seems even in this time period, the Jedi still use the Force to extract what they need.
I like the sets they have established. The town was well done. We get to meet Qimir, the dealer guy. I feel a little different about him but still think there is more than meets the eye with him. Keep an eye out for a silver tooth mask.
Stenberg as Mae and Osha was good. I seen a few bumps but she's young and has potential. Sol was terrific. The Jedi were great. And next we get to meet Kelnacca! Why is he a loner? And if he's left the Jedi then we've already met two of the Lost 20 in 50 mins of this show.
