Looking forward to meeting all the new characters.

Will be interesting to see if this show references the Nihil conflict much at all that would have happened about a hundred years prior to this.

I would imagine if they do it will just be an extremely vague reference because the books aren't even finished yet (we have the next book releasing just a week after the premiere).

 

Stylish! The ending made me chuckle, too. Really looking forward to seeing more of this approach to Jedi combat!

Set in a timeline where everything is supposed to be at peace.

While in the same previews there's also a bunch of lightsabers.

Sigh. Some people just want an excuse to hate everything.

 

I dunno; the fact that Vernestra is in this at all (when she really didn't need to be; from what I've heard so far the role could have been filled by any real 'elder Jedi') says to me that Headland isn't afraid of pulling heavy references from the books and confirming that characters survive the Nihil Crisis -- which also makes me wonder what sets Kelnacca apart from Burryaga or Arkoff.

 

I wish people would just say 'this looks boring' and not this word salad.

 

Is it an Ewok? I'm getting more than a little ill at the thought.

Reviews are getting good.

 

Some of the early reviews are in seems like a mixed bag. Some people saying it’s great. Some people are saying it’s mixed. I haven’t really seen anybody say they hate it though so that’s good.

 

I only seen few mixed and most said its good to great. Feels like Andor, mature.

 

Reviews from here in Brazil are fine, but a huge SW page saw these episodes, and he liked, but didn't love.

 

Nothing to dampen my enthusiasm so far. In one, it was compared to Kill Bill. Will have to see that.

 

Reviews seem to be really strong so far. Some even calling it Andor with Jedi in it.

Not sure where the reviews are that say it was mixed to people not liking it that much. Reviews of it being mixed definitely seem to be in the minority.

 

Wouldn't a mixed bag be something more along the lines of "some think it's good, some think it's okay, some think it's bad"?
If there are no bad comments, with mixed being the worst opinions, then declaring that to be a mixed bag seems rather off. Even more so when the positive ones handily outnumber the mixed ones.

Not that there is much to say yet. These aren't even the reviews yet, as those are still blocked. They are just general comments about the show, and probably heavy on fan-critics instead of general critics.

 

Where are these “mixed” reviews? I’m not seeing them.

 

I am hearing Jedi Master Sol is a jedi like Qui Gon Jinn. One who listen to the force and people. Cant wait.

 

I think it's just people having different interpretations of what 'mixed' means as there definitely isn't many at all who are saying they didn't like it. Most are saying they liked it or loved it.
