I've seen it yesterday and today, just in case it's cloudy tomorrow. Was definitely worth seeing.

It's been totally cloudy and grey this whole December, but there's a chance it will clear up tomorrow, so I hope I will see it then.

I was able to see it through binoculars last night. It doesn't hang around long in UK skies though. It's visible in the southwest which is also where the sun sets this time of year. By the time the glow from the sun goes both planets are very low in the sky and they set not long after. I'm lucky in that I have a fairly uncluttered view of that sky area. However, today has been cloudy and rainy so no view in my area tonight.

I'm at a Christmas display, but my brother being the astronomy guy pointed it out. We can see where we are.

Saw them just now in a nearby parking lot through binoculars. Very cool!

No view of the planets in my area tonight - it's cloudy with rain forecast for later. That's supposed to hang around into Thursday.

It was clear and sunny this morning and I got my hopes up, but the clouds rolled back in about an hour before sundown.

Very clear this evening, so I saw it again for the first time since Sunday, which was nice.

Yeah, it was my first opportunity to see them together. Even with binoculars its nothing like as good a view of them as what the videos taken with large telescopes show, but I always find that seeing something like this for yourself feels much more special somehow, more real? I'm not really sure why that is, if it's something to do with knowing that you are seeing light that is actually from the object that your eyes are focused on, and not light created by LED pixels.

It is possible to calculate Hubble's Constant from gravitational wave measurements. Granted, the error bars are still enormous, and with GAIA reaching it's full potential there's no new science in doing the measurement this way, but it is nice to have another crosscheck on this constant, that, from its discovery has been difficult to nail down.

I was especially excited to scan through this paper because, while the main result hinges on TESS observations, some of the spectral data making up the reported science comes from a telescope located at the same observatory I work with!
