No Return? That's a blatant lie. I half expected Hunter to look into the camera and say, "I'll be back."

 

Point of No Return? Well, I did not expect Colonel Gascon and the D-Squad to appear. Now that's a cameo that makes sense.

 

I guess this means there are two episodes premiering tomorrow.

 

this is where the fun begins

 

They already had those bird things from the episode show up in episode four.

 

I mean how cool was it to have a Shakespearean comedy? Having Hunter as a space version of Hamlet on Dathomir with Lady MacOmega and King Crosshair was a mash up for the ages. Their philosophical debate about what it means to return or not to return may well end up being to Star Wars what Shawshank Redemption was to movies.

 

When the episode told me I should save my progress now I knew some crazy **** was going down

 

I didn't expect the Crosshair-Ventress sex scene.

 

Steamy.

I am sure someone has already written a fanfic about it.

 

I don't think it was a good idea to have Hunter and Wrecker watch the whole time though

Ah come on who doesn’t like a bit of smut.

 

Well, its in part a expermental treatment to help fix Crosshair's hand. Turns out, Pabu was originally settled as some sex cult retreat but there was some zoning issues. Point of No Return is referring to Phee trying to deal with the Imperial Zoning Commission over it. Turns out, its so ill run that the Emperior has issues with them and he sent Vader out to pay some parking tickets.

Meanwhile, Gonky and AZ are trying to open a Casino with Blackjack and Hookers. Omega is dealing for the house.

Hemlock is busy trying to get the DVR on Tantiss fixed because Scorch can't get a hold of Fixer and Hemlock really needs his Soaps.

 

I'mma guess in this episode the Batch will reach a point from which there is no coming back.

That does fit with the previous discussion. One can't unscrew a shrew.

 

What another episode! Goodness me these two knocked it out of the park!

That was outstanding. Just so tragic all round, absolutely smashed.

So was Omega using the force at the end?

And which was the third clone and what was he not to be harmed?

Is Clone X…Crosshair’s clone?

 

Would be better if at least someone died. This show is really afraid of ramping up the stakes and tension. Really feels toothless. Take the first film as an example: the Empire killed all the Jawas and Luke's aunt and uncle to get to him. Here, the Empire destroyed some boats. Real scary.
It was well directed and the music was good and it looked good, but the plot happened pretty much as I thought it would happen, nothing unexpected whatsoever. Quite predictable that Omega would be taken again.

 

Great episode.

I didn’t watch yet, but if nobody died I’m kind of getting sick of the Twitter crybaiting from the showrunners.

“I’m telling you, get ready for this one, I physically couldn’t handle reading the storyboards and had to change my pants!”

*episode proceeds to be The Bad Batch fighting a giant manatee with a top hat and mustache*

Yeah, Twitter was a mistake.

 

Tech dying didn’t even really hit me very hard, not like Kanan’s death or anything. The cast is essentially the DK Crew from Donkey Kong 64, I can’t get THAT emotionally invested into them.

 

Its still a kids show. Kill off defendsless civilians is pretty dark
