Solid 8/10, bit of a step down from last weeks episodes but that was to be expected.

Hemlock did appears in the episode so....

I voted 10 solely for the extended turbo tank combat sequence, which have been painfully rare in the 2 decades since their cameo ROTS and certainly piques my interest more than Hunter’s feelings or more project necromancer nonsense, as much as I do respect the work they’ve put into developing those plot lines over 3 seasons.

It’s one of the vehicles from the PT that have been most often brought back. In Rogue One, the Mandalorian, now in TBB…

This was good action-oriented episode of Bad Batch. Omega scenes didn't seem very necessary though. It was not very dramatic to see her joining the other force sensitive kids. Juggernauts haven't received enough love so it was nice to see it in action. Sure they have been in the background often but not utilized that much.

But they didn't do much in Rogue One, Mando had much smaller model but there was action sequence alright.

The sequence on the cliff-side road makes me want to revisit The Wages of Fear (1953), which lead me to be aware of the remake that was released on Netflix a couple of weeks ago. I'm a bit leery, since the original is amazing and perfect as is. I'll give it a chance, though.

    I gave this a 9/10.

I think this was a good follow-up to last week. I think it was simple, but at the same time set up the last 3 episodes well however they play out. I was surprised they showed Omega as much as they did. Not that she could understand because it seems so complex, but she's probably smart enough if when she gives it enough thought she could guess.

For the guys, this seemed pretty cut and dry (well not totally). Unfortunately Hemlock is right, he does have some leverage. I'm glad they got him though. At the end I was worried for Wrecker. I thought he may not be able to jump. These episodes have me thinking anything can happen.

You meant Rampart has leverage. That Wrecker jump was suspenseful, perfect for the episode sneak peak.
Love seeing the Turbo Tank Juggernaut in action and was said to see it fall to its doom.

I think the imperial base with the Scientist working on force sensitive kids gives of a Mangela Nazi feel I quite like those scenes!

My guess is that if Rampart will continue to wear his prison uniform at the beginning of the next episode then he will die rather soon. But if he will get a new outfit then he will probably live at least until the last episode of this series, or even survive it.

Mengele... not Mangela. It sounds like name Mandela combined with Mengele. Mandela-effect? :p

I think those scenes in this episode felt like I would've seen them already. It felt like they are going for some big reveal in the end and they didn't so I was disappointed they showed the obvious we already knew. Omega would be reunited with Karr and meets the other kids. It would've better suited to the start of next episode IMO.

My bet is somehow Rampart will survive this show and that was not on my bingo card before.

Even though they heavily aped The Believer, which rarely ever works well, this was still a lot of fun

The exterior shots keep getting better and better and I almost thought I'd clicked on the wrong series somehow

Demagol's name-dropping in Hemlock's speech about long history of attempts to replicate midi-chlorian count would've been epic.

It's probably my fault that I don't remember what Rampart did that landed him in space prison. It's probably the show's fault that I don't particularly care.

Rampart is such a basic bad guy, very two dimensional. I can understand why people forget him. He did destroy Kamino, but what's that for an Empire tool.

I mean if you can’t remember him blowing up one of the most iconic cities in Star Wars under orders and then getting made scape goat for it by Palpatine himself - a key theme and integral character from the first two seasons, it really isn’t the show’s fault.

    6/10

Not much to add here. On one hand I enjoyed the episode; the action felt like a good throwback for the Batch, and I like having Rampart back in the fold. On the other, the show does seem to be drawing a good amount from Mando Season 2 (and, in my opinion, falling short). Whether the show just doesn't have a lot to work with, or is unnecessarily holding back, it doesn't really feel like this situation is leading to the series finale.

While I can understand forgetting Rampart, I don't understand forgetting the destruction of Kamino and Batches escape.

I remember it happened, but not who ordered it, or why.
