It’s been almost 2 weeks. Or has it been 3 I forget it doesn’t matter. And now we have confirmation of a third and final season of the bad batch. So I thought why not create a thread for this show final season.

Tantiss (how will this remain secret? I'm assuming the Batchers go there so they must not know how they get to/from - such as sneaking out on an Imperial-controlled ship?)

Echo and Rex
Return to the planet with the Greek island for a well-deserved holiday.

That's a good six episodes there already!

 

A lot to get done I am looking forward to it

 

Bring it on! I loved series 2, despite a few inconsequential side quests.

Palpatine visiting Hemlock in the celebration trailer. So we have a good idea where that theme is heading, aka TROS Palpatine clones and Snoke. I don’t necessarily mean in Bad Batch, but that’s the ultimate destination - well I surmise anyway!

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if the series final of the bad batch is palpatine’s desire for clones being pushed back for decades and the reason why we didn’t visit mount Tantiss in TROS (cause it was destroyed) hence why Palpatines cloning operation was relocated.

 

Maybe the Batch sacrifice themselves to destroy it and that's their legacy.

 

I hope wrecker becomes inspired by tech and educates himself in between seasons and becomes more sophisticated

 

Really excited for this after the ending to S2. I feel like it’s going to end in tragedy.

I’ve got Echo, Crosshair and Wrecker all down as potential noble deaths. I can’t pin down what the characters’ fates are though which is what excites me about this season. I feel like Omega is surely going to appear in some other form of Star Wars media, but I can’t place the rest of the Bad Batch and how they’d just having them sitting out the OT on Pabu

 

Exactly, the tragedy of prequel Star Wars material is most characters have to have been eliminated (or die noble deaths).

Wipe them out. All of them.

 

Maybe january 24.

 

I believe the ending will be the BB and Omega retiring and leaving a peaceful life on Pabu as teased in season 2. Since they didn't find Tech's body and knowing the history of death fake outs in SW, I still believe Tech will return alive for their happy ever after.

 

I hope tech stays dead or at the very least severely injured forever

 

One thing I learned about Filoni is never think certain things will be answered, because some will be left vague and he'll only answer the over all arc per say and leave certain things unaccounted, unanswered, and vague.......Why? because he might think of another live action series in the long run. So not everything we think will be answered will be.

 

Except that Filoni isn’t making this show. He pitched the idea wrote the first episode and dipped. I am sure he does other things. But it’s probably not pitching ideas. He might reject ideas.

 

This just can't come soon enough.

 

I do wonder how much it coming out on 2024 has to do with animation time vs just waiting for the opportunity that would be best. See season 2 being delayed

 

They already had the teaser-trailer for Celebration with a lot of footage shown. So I expect January 2024, maybe Spring at the latest. Season 2 teaser didn't come out until May 2022. I really don't know why Season 2 was delayed like three times. Maybe because they were working on Tales of the Jedi.

 

Now that Ahsoka is over I assume this or Skeleton crew is next.

I hope we get an actual trailer at NYCC or something

Bad Batch is also 2024.

 

I wouldn't put it past Filoni to put Ahsoka and Vader in Season 3. There's even a chance for Boba Fett as well.
We've already seen characters like Tarkin, Bail, Palpatine, Rex, Fennec Shand, and Cad Bane.
We'll have to see if Tech's fate is a fake-out or not. And I'm interested to learn more about the other female clone.

 

Of the ones You mentioned, i only see Boba Fett As possibility. Dave has his Ahsoka in live action. And no reason for Darth Vader.

 

I put Boba Fett way higher than Ahsoka or Vader.

I think the time for Ahsoka being involved has past.

Vader I just don’t know how he can pose any threat without just immediately killing everyone. Unless he goes to Mount Tantiss the same time as the emperor.

 

Not sure about Boba. I'd love to see him (always do) but we already know that...

Fennec Shand

...is in Season 3, and they can't meet until much, much later. It'd be a little unnecessary to make their timeline more complicated, even if it's just a few cheeky, "Oh, you just missed him!" moments in passing. I'd prefer more Cad Bane.

I think it's more likely we see Vader. Not as a threat perhaps, but in the background of some briefings, issuing directives.
