Yeah, I got the impression she enjoyed putting what she could into the role -- it's just that the role was largely relegated to being expository in most episodes, as a contrast to Boba's more taciturn nature. She seemed to be written for the job of saying more developed thoughts and plans out loud for us, the audience.

 

^ Agreed, and that was part of the problem. Up until BoBF, she seemed to be written as an untalkative character. Fennec was not suited to the Captain Exposition role that they assigned her. Ming Na Wen did the best she could with what they gave her, she just needed better material.

 

Saw this and thought a interesting statistic

 

Now that its fully released, everyone is probably binge-watching. Better to enjoy something and get through the story when you watch it in one go then wait week to week.

 

I've found some of the Star Wars stuff to be better binged then week to week.

Like Star Wars Rebels for example i feel that way.

 

I would also bet a lot of it is kids rewatching episodes. Not like adults don't rewatch stuff, but kids tend to do it a lot more.

 

I will say that I liked the fight scenes involving Cad Bane, Ahsoka's interactions with Luke, and Din Djarin's appearances. But that's about it.

I personally prefer the notion of Jaina Solo coming to Fett and him training her.

 

Boba Fett's determination to rule as Mos Espa's Daimyo with the goal of becoming the sole ice-cream supplier on Tatooine is a more compelling motive than whatever the heck he was doing in the actual show.

It was rough watching this on a week to week basis but I have fully come around to embracing everything about this show partly because of this video and I look forward to season 2
