Lomachenko in action this week. There is no scorecard for this vid... Spoiler Because there doesn't need to be for this one-sided bout
so on one hand, he's drawing eyes and dollars to the sport, both of which it desperately needs on the other hand, yes he and his brother are total ****stains on humanity but on that same hand, so are many of the current and former "faces" of the ufc and boxing, most much more violently - so i don't know if we have a leg to stand on in ignoring the kid, just because he's unlikeable.
It’s not just because he’s so thoroughly unlikeable, he’s just boring. I have no interest in social media personalities (that I’ve never even heard of) who use their platform to promote fights against NBA players and MMA fighters. It’s a pantomime.
Boxers box MMA fighters do insane fighting that isn't boxing Youtube celebrities should be nowhere near any form of pugilism especially boxing which is quite skilled. Using Paul to "enhance" the brand actually does more damage to the brand. The main damage the brand is facing is the self created damage which is them slowing down mandatory fights, the vast amounts of money leading whether a fight goes ahead or not. Take Fury and AJ. They ducked and weaved and avoided each other for years and now AJ has been beaten twice by effective no marks, the Fury fight means nothing. Get fight planning in order, we want to see the best vs the best.
amir khan knocked out. first loss in england in nearly 15 years, and looked bad. hope he considers calling it a career, but there is a rematch clause.
From what I’ve read, both Khan and Brook are thinking about retirement. Doesn’t look like either have much appetite for the rematch.
It was better than I expected. I was happy that Thor got the win. Thor’s conditioning and fundamentals were much better. To be fair to Hall, he had clearly put in a lot of work in a relatively short time. I was impressed with his head movement on a couple of occasions.
Essuman and Tetley put on a decent show there. Looking forward to the main event. Great to see a packed stadium with a buzzing atmosphere.
I think Dillian was. But, yeah, Fury camp said it wasn’t going past the 6th round. They called it. He packed Wembley and got a hell of a KO. This is a good one for the Gypsy King to go out on.
He'll fight again. He wants to hold all four at once Usyk or whoever beats Usyk will be next on his list The Joshua fight isn't going to happen though
Yeah, I noticed he said “might” in the post-fight interview. There’s a solid chance he fights again. I’d like to see him go out on top, though. As for Joshua, I agree. If nothing else, the fans have lost any appetite for that fight.
I watched the highlights. Nice fight, no real danger for Fury. The other Tyson beat someone up on an airplane in case you did not hear.
Historic night for women’s boxing tonight. I like both fighters, but I’ll be supporting Taylor. I’d also like to see Eddie Hearn win his million dollar bet.
canelo beaten for the first time since his loss to mayweather in 2013, dmitry bivol retains wba lhw belt. decisive win.
I didn’t get a chance to watch the fight. Like many, I thought Canelo would get the win. Looks like a rematch might be on the cards.
Canelo gets so much love from the judges it’s ridiculous they scored it 115-113 and gave Canelo the first 4 rounds Honestly I thought bivol won 9 rounds to 3 Canelo in my opinion also lost both ggg fights
Fury will return to face someone who pops up and is koing everybody left and right ala Mike Tyson 1986 , maybe take 2 or 3 years for someone to come up and do it and then Fury will do what most retired champs do and fight the young lion etc .
