Hmm... suddenly I want CW-esque episodes for right before the "real" movies. Though for RotS we already have that. And there's a book about that Ansion business before AotC. Hm. Maybe not a very good idea after all :p

Shouldn't they have a failsafe where their memory banks are remotely drained when they are decapitated?
Maybe they do. The droid's head did short circuit for some reason.

Anyway...I wonder how the handmaiden's feel about being some clone's pin-up poster...maybe we'll find out next episode. :p

Kaminoan Customer Service Clerk: Nah, sorry mate, this receipt is made out to a Mr. S. Dyas. I can't do a refund without the cardholder being present.
Yoda: Master Sifo Dyas , I am! Remember me, you do. <waves hand>
KCSC: I remember him alright, I was on the sales desk that day. He was taller than you.

I actually thought it would be cool if the series finale introduced the Battle of Coruscant. Just have a third retelling of the moments before RotS (novel, old cartoon, and new cartoon).

For the last season, I'd kind of like to see all the battles that were going on during Episode III, each one ending right before Order 66 is given.

Plo Koon on Cato Neimoidia at the end of that episode: "Captain Jag- I'm getting into my fighter now. I hope nothing bad happens to me."

I finally got to watch this episode and I wasn't dissapointed...it had the right amount of action, drama and tension from beginning to end.

The interrogation scene was my favorite, I was convinced right up to the end of it that Chopper was the traitor, although I think Slick was aptly named here. I like suspense and a sense of mystery, like a good crime novel, this had that.

Ventress was awesome as always, I think the duel was too short though and I could almost believe there was something between her and Obi-Wan although I know Obi-Wan was only being sarcastic when he said "My Sweet." And of course that usual Anakin/Obi-Wan banter...it seems they always know they're entering a trap, but they never try to avoid them.:p

I haven't seen the Clone Wars movie, but I would imagine this would be a direct tie-in to it? If so, I might have to check the movie out.[face_thinking]

    Good episode.

I've really gotten into watching the clones and following their stories and meeting all the different clones. The writers/directors do a great job of keeping all of them unique in some way despite all being identical copies.

Anakin rocked hard core in this episode, especially his rescue of Obi-wan at the beginning where he uses the cables to go across the buildings. I liked that he took action and the clones followed and he didn't need to discuss it. Man of action Anakin is great!

The tension remained high throughout the episode. I liked the Ventress fight, brief as it was, and enjoyed the banter between her an Obi-wan. "Hello, my sweet..." Still, I think there is some room for improvement between their interplay. Obi-wan needs to get into it more and speak a little faster.
It was perfect when Anakin rushed into fighting Ventress, anger on his face, while Obi-wan took a more cautious approach.

I enjoy the use of the droids in this episode. The writers didn't dial down the tension by making them too goofy and talky. Also, the droids really showed their strength in numbers so I felt they the Jedi and clones were in real jeapordy this time. This episode for the first time in a long time showed me why the Seps would use the droids as a fighting force.
As for droid humor, I liked the ending where Anakin and Obi-wan leap onto the droid STAPs and Anakin kicks that one droid off and we hear it scream. That was funny. Much funnier and more fitting that the episodes where the droids are acting too silly and such.

This episode set up perfectly for the Clone Wars movie with the Jedi in need of reinforcements on Christopsis, and I could see why it would be good for Anakin to have an apprentice. He's calmed down a lot but also there are things he needs to overcome that taking an apprentice could help him with.

My biggest gripe was the animation. The planet graphics were weak looking. And some of the running in the hallways with Rex and Cody... they looked... stunted, sort of.

Other than that, can't wait for next week!

Oh, and hopefully one day we get a Ventress vs. Aayla fight. I enjoy both of their fighting styles and they way they seem to glide. I think it would be a good match! :)

For some reason, Anakin kicking the droid off the STAP reminded me of Gir.

The scream sounds just like him almost.

This is my favorite episode so far. It had great action, awesome animation,(the best in the series) and it was cool to hear some music originaly used in AOTC during the brawl between Cody, Rex, and Slick.

This episode had a cool factor. The clones were well-written and Dee Baker does a great job at making them all sound different, yet the same. It set up the movie very well and I liked that they put in General Loathsom and the Trident.

The idea of a clone traitor was well-executed and the fist fight between Rex, Cody, and the traitor was great.

The animation was the best yet which makes since this was a season 3 episode, and the music was fantastic. I loved hearing the Christophsis theme again and the Coruscant chase music during the fistfight. Overall, a very good episode and next weeks looks incredible, Friday the 13th may not be too bad afterall, we're almost getting another Clone Wars movie!

I agree, the music kicked butt. But the animation? Take another look at the backgrounds on the skyscrappers... the buildings have no details. Also, check out the hallways inside the buildings... no detail.

I think the backgrounds were some of the series worst, luckily the characters all looked good. I hope we never go back to this planet if this is how it's going to look.

I may have missed someone else posting this, but I thought it was interesting that Slick's reason for doubling was similar to Anakin's reason for turning to the Dark Side. Both want a life outside of the confines of rigid duty and conformity, and both feel that by turning against their own side, those they care about (Slick's brothers and Padme, respectively) will ultimately benefit. I may be reading this wrong, though.

Oh, and the part of me that's still 10 years old thinks that Ani's "X and Smash" on the window was the coolest move EVER.

This thing about Obi-Wan and Ventress is way off. Think about it. Let's say Obi-Wan and Anakin run into Count Dooku again. So Obi-Wan says to him, "Well, hello, Dooku. It's always nice to see you; here we are, the three of us back together again.". Does this mean that Obi-Wan thinks Dooku is a nice guy and they are all friends? No, he's being *sarcastic*. Same thing with Ventress. Obi-Wan is having some fun with the situation, as if to say, "Here we are again, did you miss us? Ok, let's fight!". :)

This shows how calm Obi-Wan can be even in a dangerous situation. He can have some fun even when a battle is imminent, he's cool under pressure. :)

I liked how Anakin told Slick off for betraying his brothers. Nice bit of irony given what's to come.
