I love me some Seinfeld. I enjoyed watching Festivus on Festivus, and the Indian Wedding that plays backwards.

Feeling annoyed. Cats woke me up early. Can't get back to sleep. And, didn't lose any weight.

Edit: I reweighed without pajamas. I did lose about a pound.

 

Good morning! It's a cold day out there (20 degrees currently with a high if 28)...we got a slight dusting of snow last night and the forecast calls for a couple inches Monday night. I worked out this morning and I'll be watching football later.

 

Got a question: has anyone here been to any of these "comic-cons" where people have a chance to see celebrities from their favorite movies/shows and get autographs and/or pictures?

There's one near my hometown next month, and while the multi-day tickets are expensive, single day tickets are reasonably priced. Is going worth it?

 

I've been to a bunch of those, and in 2023 I met an awesome friend of mine at one, and we've been friends ever since.

So yeah they are a lot of fun. I never did the full weekend pass. I only went for a day. Lots of cool stuff from vendors. Make sure you know who you want to meet and get an autograph from.

Not gonna lie, you might be in line for awhile if you want to meet someone super popular. But you'll meet lots of folks in line, that was how I met my buddy.

I think you should go, it is quite an experience.

 

There are only a few who I absolutely want to see, so I think one day might be enough for me. There's quite a number that are supposed to show up. No Star Wars stars, but some Doctor Who, Twilight, Harry Potter (including both Weasley twins actors), DC show actors (some from Smallville, one from Lois & Clark).

 

Did you get any autographs or photos taken?

 

I only like autographs, I don't like looking at pictures of myself. I met Ray Park at a comic shop, and he liked us (was with the fam) that he took a pic with us for free.
