    I really don’t want to do that currently. Yesterday I opened a box from when my grandmother passed and sobbed for a solid hour after putting it all back and resealing. There’s not time for that since I’m on a deadline, and sadness won’t get me through all the chaos :(

    The good news is I’ve managed a lot in spite of busting my backside at work, so yay.

    It's weird how some boxes have stronger impacts than others.

    When I cleaned out my mum's house, I went through one box at a time and opened one where she had saved all my baby toys. Not childhood... like the first 3 years of my life. And I sobbed like ugly crying. I remembered many of them, because I've been blessed with a fairly strong ability to recall, but it felt like being reunited with friends from an era that represented the last time the world made sense.

    Well I can see the storms are rolling in and they are here to stay all weekend.

    But I'm currently waiting on my Middle Eastern take out, and watching Star Trek when I get home. So just a typical Friday night here.

    I remember every time there was a box, I was about 4-9, I would race my siblings or create a MASSIVE fort!

    No, I didn't.

    One time a couple of my cats played a trick on us. My mom was baking something around Christmas. There was smoke in the apartment, so we opened the sliding back door to let it out. Max (our then oldest cat) walked out and started meowing like our other cat, Matilda, had gotten out. We were frantic and searched everywhere.

    As it turned out, Matilda was in the organ, probably laughing at us. :p

    It felt more like winter today...it snowed for a bit this morning, it's been cloudy all day, and the temperatures stayed in the 30s. Watching some basketball tonight.
