Can't say I own Batman Forever. I do however own the soundtrack on cassette, so I can just listen to that while you watch the movie. Now I just need to track down a cassette player. Anyone have a spare Walkman they can lend me?

I'm afraid not. Only Batman movies I own are TDK and TDKR. I can get the Schumacher ones from the library.

Thanks. I had viewed a few TNG eps out of order when the CW showed them. :p

I think she did in the ep where Q becomes human. :p

Yeah, I love TNG. Imo, it kinda dropped off in quality during the later seasons, but there's still gems in there.

Heck, why don't I list my favorite episode from each season, just off the top of my head.

S1 E1: Encounter at Farpoint. This episode set everything up perfectly, and I may even go as far as to say this was my absolute favorite episode of TNG. You can't get a better pilot than that.

S2 E9: The Measure of a Man: I love Data, and this episode explores whether he should be considered an actual sentient life form or not. Great episode.

S3: Honestly, this one is too hard to decide. Gonna give a four way tie between Deja Q, The Offspring, Sarek, and The Best of Both Worlds (Technically also fourth season, but whatever)

S4: There's gonna be another tie here. If I'm being honest, I'd choose the episode Family. But I love Data so much that I'm gonna throw Data's Day and In Theory in there as well.

S5: Argh, we got another tie here. Unification (With Spock), I, Borg, and Inner Light. All great episodes.

S6 E15: Tapestry. Finally, not a tie. Gonna award this episode with the title of Q's best episode, with the exception of Encounter at Farpoint.

S7 E15: Lower Decks. Season Seven just didn't feel like it had the magic of the other seasons, but it still had some good episodes. Probably the best was Lower Decks. It was really awesome to see an episode not focused on the senior command of the Enterprise.

So there you go, if you care.

That's cool. CW shows a lot of DC content too, I think?
There is a free channel called H&I that screens ST 6 nights a week.
TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise, all back to back.
I've watched the entire original series before, but this channel has been a convenient way to catch up on TNG and DS9 during this frozen Hoth tundra winter. :p

    @christophero30
Do you get H&I on your tele?

    Edit: @s_heffley
Just saw your TNG post. Very cool!

If anything, I thought the quality of TNG improved with each passing season.

Yeah, looking through the episodes I kinda realized that. It was just season seven I didn't really like all that much.

Parallels was my favorite episode from that season: Worf traveling from one timeline to another.

I've heard that too, although I've not seen anything beyond S4. I do think S1 was pretty good, although it gets rather negative reviews.

What did you all think of S1?

I agree. Season 7 was more of a rinse/ repeat. Someone was defecting, Data was malfunctioning, or the holodeck was on the fritz all while someone is falling in love only for their partner to leave or die at the end. That being said, I rather liked the series finale. :p

Though, the fifth season’s my favorite. :p

Edit: @Dagobahsystem: I liked S1 alright, though it could have been better without Wesley, IMO. :p

That episode was cool but confusing. Though I dislike it for setting up the whole

Worf and Troi thing that never really went anywhere

Well it does have my favorite episode... :p

Season one might not be as good as I think it is, but it's still pretty good.

True, though I do like Thine Own Self.

How important is it to watch the series in chrono/release order?

Important, but not as important as Deep Space Nine.

So they (TNG) are more episodic than TOS, but not so much as DS9?

True...there are more story arcs in TNG, but not to the extent of DS9. Sisko as the Emissary was a running theme throughout the series, with the Dominion, and the short conflict with the Klingons playing a part later on. In the 6th and 7th seasons of DS9, there were 6-episode arcs (to begin Season 6 and to finish the series in Season 7).

Is it just me, or is "Datalore" one of the best episodes? I watched it yesterday and thought it was gangbusters.
