I'm not actually watching it. I have on The Santa Clause 3. I will not be taking any questions on why I'm watching that.

    Lol. Too funny.

Watching an NFL playoff game and The Pack have scored already in the first.
Now tied. Beautiful catch and carry run from Cook.

SW has had Holocrons for multi-millenia. Why did TLJ center around paper books?

    That's a good point @DarthIshyZ
That is an unusual movie, right?

It is. There's some depth to it that lies at the center of a lot of the criticism. People aren't given the story on a celluloid platter like the others, so they use things like Leia Poppins to denounce it.

Yes. There is depth to it. And much flouting of expectations. Visually, TLJ is gorgeous.
The plot is not free of issues though.

Subjectively, I think The Last Jedi has the best cinematography out of all the Star Wars films.

Perfect movies are few and far between. For example: Continuity and factual errors in Raiders, according to IMDB:
    - In the flying scenes, the map lists several countries by their modern names instead of their 1936 names.
    - When Toht grabs the red-hot medallion, his fingers are burned. Later in the movie, the burns on are all squarely in the center of his palm, and upside down compared to the position in which he palmed the medallion.

That's a tall order, as your smileys indicate. I'm just saying the best movies still have flaws. Ya gotta roll with it.

    No I dont! [face_laugh]

    Some flawless movies, imo:

    TESB
    Alien
    Ghostbusters
    Jaws
    The Shining
    E.T.
    Sleeping Beauty
    The Wizard Of Oz
    The Godfather

    Oh, and Raiders. :)

Mornin’, looks like you all enjoyed watching the movie :)

Nice list you got there @Dagobahsystem, from the top of my head, mine would be:

    Rogue One
    Shallow Hal
    Spirited Away

And that is all I can think of right now ;)

Dagobahsystem and Jar-Jar Binks like this.
