Before this gets to be an issue here...

How far apart do opponents start from each other?

    Doom
    Atom

    Let's move these.

Let's say an adequate distance apart. For this particular location, let's go with opposite corners.

With the prep, Steel calls Reed and asks if he can stay over. When they get to the fight, Steel goes inside and makes faces at Doom, who can't possibly enter the Baxter Building. He leaves in frustration.

Thank goodness you followed that rather unimpressed looking smily with a perfectly happy one. I'm glad you're satisfied with the decisions EF.

    Oh, by the way...

    Kang the Conquerer
    Abomination
    Holocaust
    Gorilla Grodd
    Enchantress
    Kalibak

Not to mention lesser guys like Absorbing Man, Metallo, Solomon Grundy, etc.

That's some pretty damn villainous talent left on the board.

Metallo is crap. Enchantress is weak. Abomination isn't good enough, through no fault of his own. And Grundy post-crisis is heavily neutered.

If I were going to pick someone rather than Lizard... It'd be Holocaust or Grodd. Probably would've dropped Frost too and picked up both them. But Frost is pretty useful anyway, even though she's no Holocaust in terms of durability. Really going to focus on her offense.

Pretty much. Metallo's worthless against anyone besides a Kryptonian, and even then...

    Abom is... what Yak said.

Grundy, even at his "team-busting" peaks, still always manages to get taken out rather embarassingly in the end. Like getting one-shotted by Supergirl or torn apart by Red Tornado or what have you.

Kalibak has a rock for a brain and he's a perpetual jobber.

    Enchantress is meh.

Absorbing Man can be beast, but is too easily dealt with by anyone with half a brain and some prep.

Kang without the ability to time travel is too limited.

    Grodd is a putz.

Pretty much leaves Holocaust, I'd say. From that list, anyways. I was also thinking about taking Deathstroke, Violator and a couple others. But it was pretty much down to BB or Holo with Grundy coming in at a distant third.

Kalibak was before Grundy on mine. Grundy fell hard on my board when...
Wait, why are we giving out info for free?

Oh yeah cause I like to watch myself type. The only post-crisis team-busting I've heard of from Grundy was vs. the JSA. And when I saw the scans... Well, they rolled, collectively, a 1. Coming at him 2 at a time and then not even using their powers. Literally, Alan Scott flew at him, did no attacks, and Grundy yanked him down by his cape. It was all just to exhibit Supergirl's power. That was the intent of the whole issue. Was that Loeb? I dunno much about writers, but I hear all over that he was dang near put in jail for his kiddie-love of SG

"Intelligent" Grundy did damn well agaisnt the big boys of the JLA most recently... only to be shredded by a weakened Red Tornado.

Deathstroke? Good grief, please. I dunno about Durron, but I could go several more rounds... I never had more than 1 thought about him during this, and it was just to remember that someone would've drafted him b/c he's so overrated.
