I'll start. What do you all think about the new indoor football team? I love football, and I plan to get season tickets, but do you think the team last long enough for me to get the second seasons?

 

Don't count on it, man. E'ville is notoriously bad about supporting sports teams. We gripe that we don't have anything and then when we finally get something, we don't support it.

 

Yes, where have they gone? The Triplets, The Thunder, etc. Preachrman007 is right, we don't seem to support our teams.

Personally, I hope it works out for them. I will be interested in at least checking it out.

Did anyone catch the premiere of "Birds of Prey" last night on WB?

I thought it was pretty good.

For those who don't know it is the story of The Huntress, who is the daughter of Batman and Catwoman.

 

Nope. I have satelite tv and live the far from the bright center of the universe, so I don't get a good WB picture.

What does everyone think about the new design of the boards?

 

I like this mainly because of the new icons. Its a little change of pace.

 

It will be like this for about a week, the icons will get whacked at the end as well, unfortunately.

 

Yeah, I figured.

Too bad. This sock will be, in effect, useless.

I will be performing in the Reitz fall play on November 14, 15, and 16 at 7:30 PM. The show this year will be "Spoon River Anthology" by Edgar Lee Masters.

This is your chance to see me act. Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door. Some of you might have read the book in school. Maybe I could be in your next fan film...

 

I hate the new icons because it is a star wars wesite.The LOTR and other stuff takes away from the star wars feel. But I like the red colors and stuff.

Did anyone catch Smallville last night? Pretty cool episode with Christopher Reeve in it. Clark found out quite a bit about his past.

 

To follow up on the Blue Cats thing: I went to the first home game. It was surprisingly fun. The quality of the teams is less than that of the AFL (as seen on NBC) but still a good game to watch. I got pretty good seats for 16 bucks. Now I have to decide: Prom or Blue cats game on the 12th? I guess I'll go to Prom...

By the way...

For the members in Vanderburg county, I would like to urge you to vote YES on April 8. I just returned from a rally at which I was a speaker and have become very involved in the upcoming Referendum vote. The future of our community is at stake. A few bucks a month for kids is definitely worth it.

 

That's cool about the Blue Cats...I will be interested in checking it out.
