I love how the interview features him saying "no, no, no"! (well, technically: "no, no, no, no").

 

I loved the reference of him being a "somewhat pricky" interviewee - I bet he went pricky when Star Wars was judged as being "entirely hollow entertainment". "No, no, no ---- YOU WILL DIE!!!"

 

One thing I've noticed about Ian McDiarmid...

He chooses his words as carefully as Palpatine and never, ever disparages Star Wars in any way, shape or form.

If you put the saga down with this guy around, expect a slippery opera seduction speech or a lethal blast of Force lightning!

 

He loves Star Wars, that much is clear to me, this isn't something he does just for the money. And he really understands what it is all about - and that's why he's so good in acting Sidious/Palpatine.

Either way, you will experience the full power of the dark side!

ian is IMO the best actor to be in any of the SW films. he make me beleive that he is acually the evil emperor.

Ian is BY FAR the best actor of the saga.he can only be rivaled by alec guiness but alec had too litle screen time.
