Then you can maybe help Otto out with creating some meets at his end.

 

Hang on...I don't know that I've mentioned it on here...I'm atempting to plan a FF-S Northern Section Christmas meet, probably on the 10th or 11th December and X-Scape. All the details are here!

Hey folks, just been directed over here. Bee a SW fan since ESB came out when I was 6, and just watched it again tonight for the first time in a while. How we all doing tonight?

Hey Chris, if you want to join, please post roughly whereabouts in the south you're from and I'll add you to the member list

 

Just as a heads-up to those setting up the South chapter, Honourary members do NOT count towards the attendance requirements for becoming an official chapter.

Whilst I look forward to more inter-chapter meets, FFUK London, and potentially FFUK South, are separate entities and must continue to meet those requirements as separate entities.

If at a later date you choose to merge, that's fine too, but you will not hold a dual-chapter status.

 

Ah...oh dear.

We'll just have to get on and have the Salisbury and Bedford meets then...

 

Very sad news everyone, but it appears Otto will not be returning

He has left me in charge and says he shall still give us all the help and support we need through email. He put a lot of work into FF-South and his huge contribution will always be a part of the chapter.

 

Well, I cant say I'm surprised by that

 

why not? has he been banned forever or just doesn`t want to come back?

 

I'm not entirely sure. He just says he wont be returning.

He always did have a problem with offending people

I'll try and figure the Salisbury Meet soon. I've got a good idea of date and venue, now if I can get moose and Blade along I'll be happy.

Well, this is stupid:

Well, that's us screwed, as Otto is gone and Serena's in charge, and I'm second (I think), and we're both only about 17 (Serena is now, I am next week), and I don't see anyone else being able to run this chapter other than Serena. Yet it's discriminated against due to age? Serena's more responsible than most (Except for the Kermit Skirt), and yet she won't be allowed to be a CR. That is just ridiculous.

I mean, who else is in the South that is 1) A Permanent Resident, 2) Good enough at organisation to keep the chapter alive, and 3) Over 18.

Answer, no one.
