I could never remember the name of the film that was on before ESB. I just remember the knight being scary (I was 7 at the time). In fact I thought it was the perfect accompaniment to ESB.

 

I watched it recently. Looks beautiful. But that's about it.

 

Since I was so wrong on the release date on this one:

I betting another short teaser in February. The first 2 minute in April. Second 2 minute in September and finial one starting After Halloween ( Oct 31 ).

 

I am suddenly convinced that the robed baddie in the trailer is Gwendoline Christie. Have been wrong before

 

could the stormtroopers be on the good guys' side ?

 

Not to say it can't be possible, but why does that shot give that impression? It's as good a shot as any to end up in the movie.

 

Yeah, with zero evidence to go off it seems more likely it will end up in the movie.

Since there was nothing new in the score for the teaser, then the work done by Williams must be for future teasers or trailers. I would think that the work on a trailer would take some serious time and editing and having it for celebration seems like a good fit.

 

Yes I remember gezvader28 but the tie fighters still engaged the millennium falcon the war it seems is still going on I would like to see that scene of the stormtroopers walking out of the landing craft with Luke exiting last that would surprise me but it won't I wonder what was planet they landed on.

After reading some of these speculation posts, It's occurred to me that a lot of you would be horrible writers. So I now present....

TOP 5 horrible plot ideas for TFA

1. Leia is and always was dead, she's a cyborg and has been secretly dating C3PO
2. Boba Fett owns a very popular cantina and night club. He's genuinely a nice guy now. He plays cards with Han every month.
3. There will be literal stars having wars in this movie
4. This movie will explain just how far away a galaxy it is to our galaxy (and how long ago)
5. It is revealed that Game of Thrones is in the same universe

 

Someone make this happen. Star Wars is simply Game of Thrones 3 thousand years later.

 

Its so dense, every single image has so many things going on.

 

I just loved Colbert's segment on the trailer.

 

I took some time to wait until y'all calmed down a bit to post my thoughts. My overall impression was one of excitement the teaser did it's job which is to whet your appetite.I liked Rolly the droid. Boyega as a Stormtrooper is very cool.Seeing the Falcon back in action is wonderful.I have no problems with the BroadSaber as an other poster said it's The Sith way of saying if you hurt yourself with a lightsaber then you have no business handling one.I like the X-wings gliding over the lake.Daisy and her speeder makes me wanna know more about her storyline.

 

It's like poetry. It's sort of...they rhyme.

 

Well, THAT was pointless...

 

So a lot of people have been speculating that JJ released these shots based on what's already been leaked. "People already know this so that's what he showed us." While it may be true that the footage IS based on what's been leaked, what if rather than confirmations about what we've heard, they're misdirections, maybe to guide us towards believing the wrong rumors?

 

Cobert has something for all you new lightsaber haters, lol.
