Store shelves? Is that simply metaphorical or can it be read as suggesting a CD release?

Either way, great to hear we're getting a HR audio drama from the writer of Dooku: Jedi Lost.

Same page also has the cover for #7 of Marvel's High Republic series, which ends the discussion on whether that was continuing.

I might be more interested in this then Dooku Jedi lost because it's a new era...so new actors

 

I think like with any audio drama they put out, there will be a few new cast members alongside the old standbys (Thompson, Davis, etc)

They also called it an audiobook and not an audio drama, so I'm not sure we can take any of it literally.

 

Oh i know what i mean was that the Dooku audio drama didn't have Corey Burton do the voice for normal aged Dooku was what i found odd.

 

They didn't have any of the TCW voice actors do the voices for the characters. It was audiobook narrators doing the voices.

That's your reason? In any case, much of the story is about a younger Dooku who will sound different to the older.

 

It's a shame these aren't done as 'proper' books too (I know the screenplay is released but that's not quite the same) as I really struggle with listening to an audio book. I might have to take the plunge and give it a proper go if this is a format that's going to be used a lot going forward.

 

Looks interesting. We might get a deeper look at the Nihil.

 

I listen to all new books as audio books these days anyway, so I am glade they are moving to give us more of these. Since their audiobooks are more like audio dramas, with the sound effects and such.

ohh wow, so they are branching from comic books and novels to audio drama. Not bad

 

Yeah, maybe a video game next.

 

Why do they play around? Why not give us what we really want? Star Wars: The High School Republic Musical.

Marchion Ro, Lourna Dee, and that Dowutin can probably belt out one hell of a villain song together. Disney hasn't had a good villain song in oh so long.

 

There are rumors of a potential animated high republic show in the future in development.

Well in last year's star wars insider, Titmouse mention something that things were being looked at. I can't remember exactly but when they did a second season which was about 18 episodes it was mentioned that other opportunities may be explored but they could not talk about it.
