Policy The JCF and Fan Force

The Admin team of the Jedi Council Forums, along with the site's owner and Fan Force's 2 remaining Moderators, have been working to find the best path forward for Fan Force and we have taken some steps which we believe will be the most fruitful for the overall website and our community. While social media took over the world and annihilated much of FF's earlier effectiveness (and many of the JCF's members began making connections and planned successful meetups... and even started families... in forums other than FF) we want to honor the history of FF as well as the people who still make use of its Regional forums to find connectivity.

As of this week, Fan Force is officially merged with the larger Jedi Council Forums, in part to provide better overall management but also with intent to offer a better sense of JCF and FF being aligned as one community.

What this looks like:

TL;DR - Fan Force is basically the same as it has been but we are cleaning up all the cobwebbed bits and have finally brought its active forums into proper merger with the JCF, making it all one set of forums with one, unified administration. To those who struggle with change, all we ask is that you squint and it will be clear that really nothing has changed, aside from committed and available staff now being available should any assistance be required. And the same 2 caring Mods who believed in FF enough to stick around are still the same 2 current Mods sticking around and caring about FF. Everything that has remained good about FF is still standing.
