I legitimately can't remember the last time I saw a team go on a 30-0 run.

UConn is scary right now.

 

UConn is on a crazy dominant run these past two years! When they turn it on those extra levels--wow!

Maybe teams will adopt that approach: Get the #1 overall seed, lose to a 16-seed, then win it all the next year.

 

Yeah, I turned on the game and the announcers had said that it was insane what UConn was doing because he remembered when it was 23-23 and I looked at the score and was like...

 

I’m not mad at NC State for advancing. I wish we would’ve played a closer game, but they deserve their victory. Good game Pack!

 

You know, I was being nice and not posting any images after UNC's untimely loss a few days ago, but it's time to rectify that:

Ordinarily I would criticize the Tar Heels' performance in the Elite 8, but I can't, given that they were, you know, not even there.

You're not even a UNC fan!

 

So I guess I want Purdue to win now? And will settle for N.C. State.

There's no teams left that really seem fun at this point, personally

 

Cinderella is NC State! Impressive run! Seriously, I think they were under-seeded (though I did pick them to lose their first game)...they won the ACC tournament, a conference with a 1-seed, 4-seed, and 6-seed...and Virginia was a 10 seed and we know how that turned out.

I should have stuck with my second bracket rough draft with Purdue losing to UConn (first draft was Kentucky, final draft was Houston).

 

In 2004 and 2014, both the men and women UConn teams won the championship. Could happen again this year.

But...they could both face the same school in the championship game: NC State. The same school matchups haven't occurred for the men and women's basketball championship games before. The closest something like that may have happened is with UF and Ohio State facing each other in the BCS and basketball championship months apart in 2007.

Edey's draft place is probably going to be elevated after last night's performance. Still eagerly waiting to see where Clingan, DJ Burns and DJ Horne land.

 

UConn vs. Purdue! Looking at rankings and metrics, it seems like a top-notch matchup--that doesn't happen every year.

And so it begins. The Tyson family must be really sick of losing as they are going to spend as much as they need to finally get them back into the Final Four.

 

Is Fletcher Loyer (pronounced "lawyer") the whitest name in the tournament?

Sigh. I was rooting for Purdue. Oh well.

 

Impressive two-year run for UConn...back-to-back! They showed themselves to be more talented and more balanced than Purdue. Great turnaround by Purdue after last year's disappointment.
