I guess I'll just hope his opponent doesn't have really long arms. If he doesn't, he'll be blasted into pieces before before he can move a muscle. (unless they can dodge bullets )

I was real close to picking him up as well for my last turn, but didn't because he has issues locking onto the correct targets. One must remember that he wiped out everyone on the development team that created him, so the odds of him firing on the opposing team is just as good as him firing on his own team IMO.

I think with Kong and Baragon running around loose, my goal is to just not go to teams. I still don't have any big ego problems on my team which definately helps incase I do go to teams, but at the moment that might not make up for having those two big fellas and now the added ED-209 as well.

I have the same concerns about teams matches, with Godzilla and Alien Queen running amuck I don't know how that would go for me.

 

I have no concerns about going to teams. in fact, i'm hoping it occurs. The best leader on the board, cohesion out the wazoo and a controllable godzilla character.

 

You did get the best of both worlds there with MechaGodzilla, power and the ability to control it. R2 would have really topped that off though.

 

Well, I wanted R2, but I wanted someone with good combat skills just a bit more. And Deckard is the one. Of course, i'm lost for my tenth rounder now. Maybe I'll just take a personal favorite live Rocky. Cool, but overall completely useless in a fight

 

I'm thinking of prepping R2 and trumping him with Jack

You sir, are quite hilarious. Even more so because I'll probably always do the opposite of that.

 

Well, he...shoots out lightsabers. And serves drinks. And zaps ewoks.

 

And fixes robots. Man I wish I had've thought of him. I need to find another techie for team support with ED-209.

 

Oh, I see now.

 

He repairs starships, saves senators and jedi from unfortunate smelting accidents, repairs a fellow droid at least twice, lights super battle droids on fire, distracts grievous, stops luke and co from being crushed, and he's a pretty good co-pilot.

But mostly he's a moving swiss army knife that can take care of himself and others. Hence why he's perfect for Jack.

 

The only problem with that is...

1) You don't have a robot on your team other than R2, so the fix-it skills are useless.
2) You don't have a starship to either repair or pilot.
3) There won't be any garbage crushers.
4) No smelting plants in this draft either.
5) The battle droids he lit up were really dumb, and there aren't any characters in this draft who would pick up an astrodroid and look at it until it sprayed oil all over.

Sure I feel that R2 would be beneficial, to someone like Zizz or OBI-BEN, but to anyone who doesn't have a large robot to program or repair he would be next to useless.

 

Just a few feats. My plans were more like using that swiss army knife abilities he has to Jack's advantage. If I don't bench him.

I guess I am missing how R2 would benefit Jack. Is Jack a scientist familiar with robotics? How would he be able to utilize R2? The only real attack option for R2 is the electrical shock thing which is short ranged, and then that oil spraying thing which is also short ranged.

I agree with Batpooh, work up a trade. It's obvious that BEN is interested, he would probably be more than happy to give you his 10th round pick in exchange for R2.
