I went back and while there’s some consistency with the final TCW season and last season of BB, it’s far more similar to the Andor score than those, in terms of tune, tone and whatever that instrument/ sound is, that was peculiar to the Andor score, and found it’s way into this one. I’m convinced that Kiner was explicitly inspired by the Andor score. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Good musicians are open to inspiration, and I’m sure the Kiners would’ve listened very closely to Britell’s, given that it’s a pretty recently-released Star Wars show. We’ll see if they’re asked about it in interviews.

 

Really liked Crosshair's theme's "heroic" version in 3.05.

 

Getting some heavy Terminator vibes from the music for the Shadow Agents. So far no other hints, but I wonder if they are part machine. Maybe like a Phase Zero dark trooper from legends. Would make for some interesting connective tissue to the Mandalorian storyline.

 

The music in ep 6 had a strong Tales of The Jedi vibe.

 

Does anyone know if the Kiners have said how they will release the music for this season? Will it be done by half a season like the previous 2?

 

I believe that will be this friday now, 22.

 

They're usually a week behind their cut-off points, aren't they? So that they don't accidentally spoil anything?
