Well they had shaky cam in the teaser with the storm troopers but I thought it was very well done there and fit the scene. It really seems like they're mixing modern styles when it fits and retro styles where it fits. I love how the Stormtroopers are shot because they look way more menacing and military like.

Watch the teaser trailer again. The MF part was very dynamic & modern. Some retro stuff isn't going to hurt.

 

Alright, I'll give you that. I'm just going off this guy's description of the asteroid scene and what exactly was meant by 'static' and 'old school'.

I'll freely admit this *hands up* Ever since the teaser was released, I've made a point of watching it at least twice a day, every day, ever since. I love every single second of the footage, and it just isn't getting tired. Sometimes I think, "Get a grip ffs, you're approaching middle age. And you're going on like a kid over a teaser trailer" lol. But you know what? **** it

The sequences are supposed to be two minutes long each? The descriptions of both scenes seem to be less than a minute at best.

Could be. But it also could be a placeholder for the sand planet in question. There is also something odd: Why would Tattooine from episode 1 even be relevant? There are no major battles that take place there.

 

I hope they pull off at least one classic wipe!

 

I'm taking all this to mean LFL is going to slowly open that mystery box in the months leading up to the film release. So the new TIE and other ship and characters details to be portrayed in-game will get official reveals beforehand.

 

I am going to waste so much time playing that game

I'm sure you aren't the only one. I pretty much watch it every night before bed. Then I wake up every morning and check for updates.

I think the X wing shot is pretty old school, but with a modern touch. Reminds me of a polished Hoth.

 

Battlefront sounds like an absolutely amazing game! I need an Xbox One.
