that's my point. the mainline movies are the big cheese. It bugs me that moments that can be seen on screen would be shoved to the novel. The novel can fill in more gaps sure but to take away any of those possible luke seeing those things in maybe a vision and struggling moments from the movies would be lame.

I wanna see some of Luke. He was the original hero, I don't like that he's getting barely any moments at all. There's so many good ideas of what he could be doing or what he can be struggling with FOR THIS MOVIE and it's crappy to know they didn't take advantage of any.

SWU stated he is a zombie-like character in the film. Someone who is literally "The Walking Dead". That would seem to imply he is an ancient sith who has been resurrected from the dead.

My idea: Luke removes himself from the galaxy to insure his survival as the forces of evil multiplied faster than the forces of good after Return of the Jedi. He's outnumbered. He's waiting for the Force to bring him the right people to fend off evil. We see that at the end of this new installment in the Star Wars saga.
