    Rodians = Annoying looking

Ithorians = Ugly Looking and has "Take advantage of me!!!!" written all over them

As for the Female Twi'Leks voices sounding like Japanese School Girls, well Japanese School Girl voices = Annoying

A nice hutt would be nice to see

And you say that the Rakata was rediscovered in KOTOR1? So the Rakata was part of Star Wars EU before KOTOR? I was always under the impression that the Rakata race and origins was created by Bioware....

After the callapse of the Infinite Empire, the Rakata fell back to their home world. At the end of KOTOR1 there's the battle for the Star Forge, right above their planet. After the Republic won I doubt they would've left the area without exploring this previously unknown planet with sentients on it.

Actually, the Star Forge was orbiting a nearby star, the main star (sun) of Rakata Prime's system. When they fly through the Sith's disruptor field, they've already seen the Star Forge, and when they're going down, Carth opts to put the Ebon Hawk down on a "nearby planet."

    Scoundrel

EDIT: The first few times I played it through, I thought the Forge was orbiting Rakata Prime (Unknown World) too.

A bit late, but Czerka Corporation wasn't invented by Bioware. It was in a couple sourcebooks and the novel Cloak of Deception prior to it being hugely expanded on in KOTOR. And I was always glad that they invented the Exchange and didn't just reuse Black Sun.

I wish they would have shown a few of the Taung Mandalorians from Tales of the Jedi, though. Although I suppose in their helmets it would be hard to tell the difference.

Cloak of Deception, isn't that a PT related Novel? If so, then that would mean that Czerak is still around during the PT/OT period which is cool in many respects.

Yeah, it takes place from a year to just before Phantom Menace. If I recall, it's only mentioned briefly as being a large weapons manufacturer, which would make sense.

There are many books that mention Czerka, although they are only mentioned in small conversations and little is said about what they do.

Wow, I didn't know that Czerak had a meaning outside of KOTOR.

So of Cloak of Deception and many other books mentioned Czerka before Bioware did, that would just make KOTOR that much more great because it took something that was mentioned here and there in many comics/novels and basically gave it a full meaning. So when people go back and read these books, they can put a face with the voice.

Great discussion everyone, keep it coming! :)

I still consider bioware to have created Czerka, I mean look what they did with a few referances. I'd say it was theres.

BTW Draco I love thsi thread, it's a great idea.

Well considering what everyone else is saying, Bioware didn't really create Czerka Coroporation, but Bioware did give them life and a meaning.

This goes for a lot of the alien races of Star Wars. Ithorians was first seen in EP4 in the Tatooine Cantina, but it was nothing more then some weird backgroud figure. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't til KOTOR when Ithorians finally recieved a meaning and a purpose in the galaxy. Now when I watch this EP4 seen and I see the quick Ithorian shot, this time I have a voice to put with the face.

I have forgotten where but in the games someone said that the sith used to be a sencient(sp) species but went exstinct(sp). Has anyone else heard this before or is it something I misheard?

You are right, supposenly they are the "True Sith" and if there is a KOTOR 3, that is what the main plot would be about.

The True Sith which were a species, fled the galaxy long ago. Then after years, outcast Jedi that had fallen to the DS fled to Korriban where they then learned the ancient teachings of the True Sith and over time, these outcast Jedi became Sith as they followed the sith teachings and ordeals.

Like they say in KOTOR, Sith if this era aren't true sith, but followers of the True Sith.
