I don't know, Tam, what about them? ;)

What would you like me to say?

As confusing as the ARC issue has been for us, it's also been confusing for the authors. Certain errors have been made. Decide how to rectify that however you wish.

Im curious. If anyone has seen Chapter 2 of Star Wars CLone Wars. Are the Soldiers with the ARC troopers still ARC troopers? They appear to be standard clones. The squad was composed of 1 red,3 blues, & about 6 whites.. So does color on an ARC abbreviate rank like the rest of the army? My best guess is:
Red=Captain?
Blue=Sergeant?
White=Private?
(thx for the pics BTW & ill keep that in mind)

Look back through the earlier pages on this thread, and you'll find the answer to the color question. As to the other troopers, I'd say probably not.

Ok, from what I have seen from Star Wars Ep III, and the clone troopers of the time, the red clone trooper captain rank stuff like that has been completely eliminated, and that the colour is accosiated to each legion. Also, from what I have seen, each commander has a group of bodyguards, with basically the exact same armor as there commander. Bly, Bacara, and Neyo have a group of bodyguards with them, but Gree, Cody, Thire, Fox, and Appo do not have a group of bodyguards. Also, it is evident that each trooper customizes there armor to some extent. Finally, that skirt that Bly and ARC trooper's wear are not kamas, but command skirt's.

And, I have a question, who was the blue clone pilot that shot down Ploo Koon? Was it Odd Ball? I am not sure. And, that unknown commander with Cody, might be a medic.

Thanks!

I really wouldn't call them "bodyguards", they're just troops in their legion. Thanks to the new "Sith Snaps" feature, we now that that Bacara's legion are the "Galactic Marines".

C'mon, that can't be true...

Just go thru the last few pages, and nearly all your answers will be cleared... - no offense, but I'm really gettin lazy of those n00bs who always ask the same questions...
First, all troopers with Bly, Neyo and Bacara look equal, nothing special.
And damn, that soldier aof the second Utapau battalion actually calls a medic... he is none...
And the "command skirt" is a kama, whatever you say...

Odd Ball was with Kenobi and Skywalker over Coruscant, the one who shot Koon maybe wasn't even a commander...
And one last thing... the picture on the top, what's its meaning? I created it and showed it several pages ago, so why now again???

EDIT:
Since we now have the Galactic Marines and the 41st Elite Corps, I really guess, all battalions with a huge modified armor (like those two, maybe also the 2nd battalion on Utapau, but not 327th Star Corps) are some sort of spec force. The 41st are the "Rangers" of the GAR, and the Galactic Marines are the "Marines" of the GAR, I guess that would be the best realtion to "real world" spec forces of "our planet" :D

Wouldnt Gree's forces be considered to be more marine style than the 41st

Gree's Elite Corps are the 41st. But I think you meant, wouldn't Gree's forces be considered more marine style than Bacara's. And yeah, I'd have thought Bacara's troops would be Cold Assault Clones or something (sno-clones, perhaps? ;)) but I guess that they, unlike Blizzard Force troops, are not limited to cold environs, and likely have various armour modifications for different missions - perhaps the same with Gree; it's said in the Databank that he is assigned missions on planets with native warriors, so he's not just on Kashyyyk during the war.

the 41st is most time on planets with "strange" alien races (see Gree's backstory^^), but the armor has imo nochting to do with it.

And one question: is the falling white stuff on Mygeeto snow or ash?

The Empire of the Hand 501st Legion Stormtroopers operated rather much like the ARC Troopers in more than one way. I wonder if that was deliberate on Parck's part?

>>"And one question: is the falling white stuff on Mygeeto snow or ash?"<<

Judging from the proto-snow trooper armour the Galactic Marines were wearing, i'd say snow. But it was only a light snowfall, Mygeeto certainly doesn't seem to be a Hoth-scale snow world.

But I remember in a AoR or something like that it was said, that Mygeeto was an ashen planet...
But better wait for the databank entry for Mygeeto...

EDIT:
Here is the pic I meant: Ashen Skies: http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/bts/artofrev/2005/03/artofrev20050314.html

It's intended to be ash. We called it the "Crystal World" (because of the buildings) or the "Ash World" for a long time.

Ok, thx for the info Ryan. So the proto-snow theory falls apart...

I guess all will be revealed "soon" in databank updates, so the only thing we need is patience...

Hey, that looks cool. Where is it from, since Republic 78 isn't out yet, is it?

And well, this is a snow planet, but actually the troopers are only white, and no purple like the Galactic Marines...
