Biography:
Udin hails from the Nagi homeworld. He grew up like most Nagians, learning the art of combat, utilizing his people’s gift of speed, and lightweightness to achieve victory. However, unlike his contemporaries, Udin did not find the use of their tongue craft to charm and despoil, nor involvement with the slavery of the Wookiees honorable. Fleeing his homeworld, Udin seeks a different path, one of transcendence. This has lead him to Decameron Alpha, where he hopes to hone harmony, and his people’s warrior habits.

Its not perfect, but love the location, some of shots of the rock formations, and the Sith or Acolyte of Darkness sporting a more Egyptian headpiece and mask.

I like how the Gray Jedi is neither timid nor excessively aggressive; very balanced in his duel.

Very Interesting. I couldn't comprehend what the narrator was saying, but I think I got the gist. Thank you for sharing this. He did keep his composure, which was excellent.

It is my understanding we are approaching the main temple of Bendu, but I’ll let @greyjedi125 give the definitive answer.

I’ve noticed most Gray wield white lightsabers. I quite like the aesthetic, neither blue of the Jedi nor the red of the Sith. Purity.

Is there any tradition to why the saber is white in lore?

I know the Imperial Knights wielded white sabers exclusively.

Yes, they're a sith crystal unbled and purifyed by the lightside. Ahsoka does this in her novel.

 

Ah yes, I have heard of that explanation. My curiosity is why you get a white blade from the beginning, that is your own first saber and crystal turns white.

 

That doesn't happen, at least not in canon.

 

Well us Gray are predominately in Legends save for Bendu in Rebels and some claims Qui-Gon is Gray. So strictly canon doesn’t work, for this order is in The Expandedverse is it not?

 

Then no clue! Legends is not my are of expertese.

 

I like this explanation, not sure if its from any lore though:

“The white colour came to represent her personal autonomy, as she was free from the dark side of the Force and free from the Jedi order. White is a neutral color so represents a neutral stance with the Force.” (Bossk’s Bounty.com)

 

I wouldn't exactly call Ahsoka neutral.

 

Her quest for revenge against Thrawn is very dark side, while her desire to help Anakin in Rebels when he briefly emerges is not Jedi either, “attachment forbid” (AOTC, BOBF), and yet she fights evil too; she is somewhere in the void, the Grey realm of the Force.

Regarding 'Our Grey Order', as you put it ( I always enjoy how that sounds ). There is no official lightsaber color per se, as Light has all colors within it. However, we do gravitate towards, white or purple, generally. But all colors are part of the Force. A grey chooses as he is led.

I agree Caretaker, any color can be claimed.

I do think white or purple does help identify Gray in a battle among the reds of Sith and Blues & Greens of Jedi.

 

Why do we need lightsabers at all?

 

For cutting cakes of course.
