    @Dagobahsystem

There is a Sith Lord Clawdite in Legends. His name is Pol Virten, he stole Sith artifacts including a damaged Sith holocron and in the process of learning from that damaged heirloom and having an natural ability to wield the Force to move objects aspired to become a Sith Lord.

He assumed a human form and a Ualaq Aqaulish. As a human he Decieved Draba The Hutt and recieved dreams from the Damaged Sith Holocron that showed him a future where he ruled The Hutts.

However, Virten became hunted when Draba discovered what he was up to and placed a bounty of 100,000 credits on his head. The Aspiring Sith Acolyte unable to overcome the numbers against him transformed into a Ualaq Aqualish and disappeared.

My focus was on that Palpatine bridged the minds of Rey and Kylo Ren. There was attraction, sure, but it derived from that Rey only knew one other Force Sensitive till she meets Master Luke, who is in a disillusioned state. Kylo is closer to Rey’s age, a next generation of Force User, so it makes sense she its drawn to him, but remember that in the end she won’t take his hand (TLJ), and she even resists him to the point she stabs him in the chest and heals him (TROS). Rey doesn’t give into her feelings till Ben is reborn and by then its too late.

The Dyad is a curiosity to me. For Bastila Shan, and Revan were one. The Jedi Council bridging their minds (my theory). How and why this bridging is done is most curious to me. It essentially make a symbiotic Rule of Two. In both cases it remained in The Light Side, no matter if the Bridger was a Sith Lord or a Jedi Council. Which raises the question why traditional Jedi forbid attachment, if two of the most famous attachments lead to redemptions: Revan being redeemed by a memory wipe and bond to Bastila, Revan redeeming Dark Bastila, and Rey healing Kylo and saying she could have loved Ben being the start of his redemption.

Points well made my friend. However, I do not agree that a third party is necessary for a Dyad to occur, or to perform any kid of 'bridging'. I see the Dyad union much like a true marriage, blessed by the Force, where both parties transcend self and put the other above themselves. Sadly, there are not many examples of this I can reference. I'd say the Force itself is the 'third' party, for it alone would know their hearts. A Dyad is not a matter of science, but something far beyond what any instruments could possibly record - nor can it be forced or faked.

Indeed, Rey was bonded to Ben, not Kylo. That was made clear. Where do you find that Revan and Bastila were a Dyad, I would like to see/ read about that and how it is said this came to pass.

I do love the idea of it, but it seems it needs refining. I'm all for seeing ( attachment ) become accepted among the Jedi once again. They would benefit greatly from it.

Interesting, The Dyad caused by The Force drawing two souls together, very romantic, like serendipity. I however, find the influence of outside persons and their wills binding Rey and Kylo together, as well as Revan and Bastila a factor that seems rather coercive. It smacks of 50 Shades of Sith.

To read Revan and Bastila bond you’ll need the Knights of the Republic Hologame (video game. PC, Xbox, Apple Store, Android). You’ll have to do the Light Side path and make sure to speak to Dark Bastila on the Starforge with certain lines of dialogue.

The Altisian Jedi are the best balance of attachment allowed IMHO. I think avoiding attachment is folly and impossible.

I’d love for a Clawdite to become cult level obsessed with a Sith Lord, change to appear like them, and assume the identity as a Shadow Lord.

Wanted to share this here. My favorite SW character is Ulic Qel Droma. He was my first introduction into The Expanded Universe.

    With Polmath’s approval:

    Name: Alric Qel Droma
    Race: Human
    Sex: Male
    Height: 1.77 Meters
    Weight: 250 lbs
    Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Reddish Brown, Short with long bangs.
Weapons: Ulic Qel Droma’s Peridot (Yellow-Green) Saber
    Biography:
Alric is the descendant of the Legendary Ulic Qel Droma and the Sorceress Aleema Keto. He was raised in Krath traditions of the dark side, and developed a fixation with his ancestor Ulic. He left The Teta system to hunt down the holocron of Ulic and his lightsaber which was buried with him on Rhen Var.

Alric is strong in the Force and self trained with a lightsaber. He seeks to find his identity in the past, to live up to his namesake and continue the legacy of Ulic. This makes him at times single minded, and prone tofanaticism.

Alric while trained in SithSorcery, has not sworn allegiance to the Sith. His knowledge of Ulic’s redemption had made him curious to explore the Jedi Path while still honing his darker powers. It isthe mixture that had lead him to Decameron Alpha.

Aleema Keto and Ulic did have a romantic relationship. So it stands to reason a child was conceived and concealed by the Krath. ;)

Was Qui-Gon Jinn a Gray Jedi or just a Seer/ Consular Jedi with lack of conformity?

*Cough* I'm biased on that topic. I've claimed him as 'grey' in silence for years. *cough* :p

He did seek the Shamans to learn how to become a Force Ghost. And they weren’t Jedi. ;)

Please elaborate Caretaker. I am intrigued. :)

“Where the Jedi gained power through understanding, the Sith gain understanding through power.” -DARTH VADER

The Jedi also did a kill everything approach towards The Legions of Lettow and The Potentium on a genocidal scale. Jedi and Sith have both tried to not only snuff each other out, but other Force Sects. Granted, The Jedi did reform under Master Luke Skywalker who not only tolerated other sects like The Altisan Jedi, he worked with Sith to defeat Abeloth.

Great combo between you two on ESAF. That was very enjoyable indeed! Natural, effortless and realistic. Alejac dropping some wisdom to boot!! Loved it!

Thank you, sir! Never knew we had that landscape near the temple, did ya?

If anyone's interested, the artist is Frederic Church. Part of the Hudson River School in the mid-to-late 1800s.

The landscape does change from time to time, so it works perfectly. Thank you for the art ( Frederic Church! Noted and Thanks! ). If you don't mind, I'd like to use it for future scenes surrounding the Temple.

Not my art, and I'd wager Church is long dead by now. I'd only suggest proper citation.

It was the most fun I’ve had in combo. I wish Alejac was Force Sensitive, then he could train Alric. :)

Edit: Then again, Ulic Qel Droma was severed from The Force when he trained Vima Sunrider. ;)

I like having a non-Force sensitive character. Makes it somewhat more personal.

It also establishes that non-Force users are as important as Force Users; perhaps another balance? The Force is in all living things, perhaps it ordains those who have little to no Midi-chlorians to act as counterbalance, to show that one can change the fate of the galaxy even if you arn’t Force Sensitive. :)
