Me too. Marko Ragnos had those iconic horns and he is seen burning the foreheads of Exar-Kun and Ulic, telling them they are anointed as Sith Lords. Freedon Nadd does speak to Ulic and tell him “you will become one of great ones,” but its clear in the comic strip shared earlier its Marko Ragnos who stops Exar and Ulic from killing one another and anoints them.

The Mark on the foreheads of Kun and Qel Droma, do we know what it symbolizes or means? Ulic has it for the remainder of his life.

 

Ludo Kressh was one of Sith Lords who spoke through the amulets of Exar and Ulic. And since Shar Dakhan had the same forehead mark and came after Kressh, it could be something Kressh started or it might have been a more ancient dark side rite.

I just finished reading Tales of the Jedi: Redemption for the first time, and Hoggon is one of the strangest characters in all of Star Wars. That is all.

I wouldn't rank it that high personally, but I really enjoyed it. It was crazy ambitious for the time considering most EU stuff at that point was strictly OT or post-OT. And it has aged surprisingly well considering what little we knew of the Jedi Order and the Sith before the PT.
