And that's my overall point about the game being fundamentally flawed in its design. So the voice actors aren't the issue, it's still a matter of cost.

I don't disagree. The design of the game in its original state requires a steady income of a gargantuan amount. My point is not to make a claim that clearly has no backing, such as with the cost of voice acting being too much.

Certainly the cost of creating the eight class stories eventually became too much for the dwindling population of subscribers--which is very unfortunate, because the class story is what defines the game for me, personally. To be fair, though, they did bring back companion voice actors for a (bafflingly) small amount of dialogue.

I really like Lana, hope our character could have a long term romantic relationship with her.

Never seen a Sith speaks like this, she's more interesting than the case.

I started out very interested in the story of TOR, but with all the time that has passed since the Sith Emperor has done anything, I've lost interest.

Same. For all the novel's faults, I loved the backstory of Vitiate, and was really curious to see that explored...

The fact I already know the "Emperor" in the Jedi Knight story isn't really him, it's the main reason I've still never completed it (beyond the fact I suck playing a tank :p). Had that been the story? Sure, I'd have made myself complete it, but... bleh. I'd care more if they had continued it, but my fear now is it'll end up like the Dread Masters, and only happen in an Operation, meaning I'd never see the conclusion anyway -- which, sure, is the fate in most MMOs, but TOR was sold on its story, and the ongoing patches haven't delivered that.

Yeah, that always annoyed me too, and its one of the reasons I don't care about the Knight story that much. On the other hand, it would be anticlimactic to have the Sith Emperor finished off that fast, but instead the Republic is just still in the dark, as usual. And no sign of the Sith Emperor since, although speculation is that the new stuff might be leading up to that- either that or another third faction, with the Dread Masters finally dead.

They've officially announced another digital expansion- though basically more like a new feature rather than a full expansion. Player housing and Legacy banks, as well as guild capital ships, sounds pretty exciting. Housing might be decent, though that depends on how useful or fun it is (not really expecting much, still see people on the swtor forums complain about no sitting emote or something like that, for roleplaying). Somewhat looking forward to it.

I don't expect SWTOR to ever have another story expansion in the sense of Rise of the Hutt Cartels, but to see the expansions be like Galactic Starfighter or this Galactic Strongholds. I think Bioware is leaning heavily toward new content being "repeatable" as with weekly events and dailies.

I suspect all new stories to be handled through things like Oricon, flashpoints, and ops.

They said there's another ROTHC-sized expansion coming later this year, I believe.

Yeah, Bioware said that we will have 2 expansions this year, one similar to Galactic Starfighter (Galactic Strongholds) and one more closely resembling ROTHC (I wonder whether Tython/Korriban flashpoints will lead to this one).

It seems that patch 2.8 ( "the biggest update up to this point" ) has been pushed back to June 24th.

    Codex entry of Lana Baniko
With her serene and considerate manner, one might mistake Lana Beniko for a Jedi. She is, however, a Sith Lord of great wisdom and strength who has impressed many of her peers in a considerably short period of time with her keen insights into the nature of the Force. It was Beniko's treatise on the perceived moral parallels of Jedi and Sith in battlefield settings--as well as her passion for unraveling the truths and secrets behind the Jedi--that brought her to the attention of Darth Arkous of the Dark Council. She has since become his most trusted advisor.

I wish that the TOR Sith Empire was the result of Hundred-Year Darkness Dark Jedi who settled on Dromund Kaas instead of Korriban. Its mostly-human population would make more sense this way. Furthermore, I would have established that the Dark Jedi leaders were among the Dromund Kaas settlers, hence them being the "true" Sith.

Well, I always wanted them to be mostly-pureblood population, more advanced TOTJ Sith Empire that would have been different than OT empire.

I hope if Bioware will bring emperor back, this time they will differentiate him from Palpatine. I was so disappointed by his pale white, elder human form in Knight finale.

Me too. I would have loved a pureblood Sith Empire. I was trying to work within Bioware's goals (an OT-like Sith Empire).

Dataminer was very nice to answer my question about Revan in Rakata Prime flashpoint.
There are no "true" dialogues with him so far, but there are dialogue nodes. According to these, Revan will take part in one conversation and he has 16 lines which equates to probably 3-4 conversation options.

    My speculation:

The "code" of this dialogue is "rakata_prime.shared.rooftop_console". "Shared" means that both Reps and Imps will take part in this conversation. It will probably occur at the end of the flashpoint since most of these flashpoints end near consoles. If this is indeed the case (and if Revan is alive, not force ghost or hologram) I suspect that Rakata Prime will not be the last of Revanites chain of flashpoints or this flashpoint will lead to the story expansion involving Revan.
