Looks like the Golden Bear will have the last word after all, though I'm sure he's wishing otherwise today.

 

Disappointed Watson couldn't quite pull it out

Shame Watson didn't win. Would have been about 26 years between major victories for him.

The Canadian Open this weekend.

 

The Canadian Open hasn't been to the Maritimes since 1939, and not to the prairies since 1961. They should call it the Central Canada Open.

 

Next is the PGA in two weeks.

looks like woods is on his way, unless things fall apart tomorrow. which i have some doubts on honestly.

glad the cut got dropped to +4 though. means some pretty good golfers get the chance to stay in it for a bit. wonder if phil'll be able to pull out of his putting nose dive the last few days.

 

Tiger's in good shape. Phil, on the other hand, is way out of it. Though not as far out as Tiger at the British Open

 

Tiger's now only leading by one over Harrington.

 

Two, actually - Harrington bogeyed the 18th, so Woods is at 8 under and Harrington's tied for second with Y.E. Yang at 6 under. Still, Tiger's record when he goes into the final round of a major with the lead is, uh, pretty darn good

 

True, but Harrington's been pretty hot lately, too.

wow... yang has played well. and that was a VERY nice chip in for eagle.

interesting final four holes left.

 

Woods can't make a putt.

 

indeed... it is getting a bit crazy.

and i think that'll probably do it. somehow i don't see yang three putting this hole.

 

that was an awesome 2nd shot on the 18th. fully deserved win by Yang.

Tiger: 14 wins from 15 when leading after 3 rounds.

 

indeed, a VERY well deserved win by yang. i doubt it'll be his last one, either, considering it's his first year (least i think that's what they said) on the PGA tour.

now one must wonder how this'll effect tiger.
