TOR The Planets Thread - New Addition - Corellia!

    The Planets of The Old Republic MMO

    We've got a fairly decent collection of planets - the obvious ones; Taris, Tatooine, Korriban, Tython, Coruscant, and a few interesting ones; Alderaan, Ord Mantell, Hutta, Balmorra and Drommund Kaas and the sharply interesting one; Belsavis.

    That's eleven planets, so we're due at least one more as no self-respecting game will choose an odd-number of systems.

    Where the kriff is Corellia? :p

    Seriously great choice of planets that we knew we would get and new ones. I doubt we get to go to Corellia as I would love to do though.

    Great, now I have to go find a copy of Children of the Jedi somewhere to brush up on my Belsavisian knowledge.

    Awesome concept though. Especially if there's mind-traps.

    Anyone got any thoughts on this new planet known as 'Voss' and the two new 'species' that occupy it?

    The screen shots sure look nicely different to other planets in the game. Autumn woodland with outcrops of bare rock. I'm gonna enjoy walking around that planet.

    From looking at the screen shots it reminds me of a Korriban and Datoonie hybrid.

    Ugh. That's all I can say to it. But the scenario is nominally interesting. So who won the Battle of Hoth? Sith? Republic?

    It's neatly placed between the Unknown Regions and Hydian Way, being...

    Based on this I assume the Republic lost:

    One of the most remote and lifeless planets in the known galaxy, Hoth was of no real interest to the Republic until it became the site of a devastating military defeat.

    Apparently the Aurebesh on the page mentions a Chiss scout base... Oooooh. That's interesting. Especially as Darth Malgus is busy during the Cold War conquering swathes of the Unknown Regions... I wonder what's going on there?
