ST The Romantic Future of Kylo Ren and Rey

Well we don't know for sure if it's at the end or not and maybe her confusion grows over time and this is the climax. I think she has already showed a little bit of confusion already. I hope it wouldn't be something random at the end.

 

Not necessarily. Sforza just overheard a very bizarre line from the director in relation to an equally bizarre planning sequence. As in "this is the scene where REY is confused about her feelings". But Rey isn't in the scene. Rey is nowhere to be found. The scene itself seems to feature a thin young man staring up at the stars on a wall that leaks are calling Leia's summer home. It was also suggested that this is actually a flashback... perhaps of young Ben Solo? That seems like the most logical answer. I can't imagine anybody but a 20-year-old Skywalker descendent watching the stars, feeling lonely.

So why would a flashback potentially featuring young Ben Solo be referred to as "the scene where REY is confused about her feelings."

That's what was overheard. It may allude to the Force Bond theory, which would give Rey access to Ren's memories and emotions subconsciously.

There isn't a whole lot of context. We don't know how connected anything is, but there's no way she "develops feelings for him" near the end. She's clearly confused. That was her main emotion. Confusion about her feelings.

Yeah... he's "the Dark Side of The Force Awakens." As in the villain? That doesn't mean "the Dark Side awoke in him." He was already on the Dark Side lol.

The translation or whatever might be screwing me up here. "To whom" makes no sense in this sentence. Something can't awaken to whom someone.

 

So Finn - Tran's character are intimate with each other on the space horse and Rey - Ren are playing cat-and-mouse chasing game while half of the city is exploded?

And yet we still had people saying Ren was evil from the start and there was nothing they could do and that they were the "perfect" parents even though all of the evidence in the film, script and novelization was pointing in the opposite direction. Funny how that works.

She only saw his head, nothing more. And it was dark and he was high up.

And oh man, are there any new findings on that too? My heart is still totally set on Rey being a Kenobi!

 

Just that she was confirmed to not be a Solo (perDaisy). I think it is doubtful she is Skywalker.
So that leaves Kenobi or Dark Side.....or both (dun dun dun....)

 

So let me get this straight:

- More news about bloodlines and Leia

- More evidence of Finn’s love interest in the form of Kelly Marie Tran

- Possible flashback / vision of young Ben Solo

- Rey confused about something or someone, which mean more character depth to her

- Kylo Ben mooning reflecting like Luke’s binary sunset

This would be amazing. Maybe Rey can see it through his eyes, making her understand Kylo Ben a bit more...

 

I wondered if this could in fact be a forceback/flashback to a teenage Ben, if he was in fact on this planet during a

Ep VIII I am sure had great security but stuff is getting out. And maybe they want some of it to get out

 

I like it. He is so damned determined to be in the darkness, even though he doesn't seem to enjoy the dark like other darksiders. He could actually be someone who is willing to give up his soul for some "greater good" or for someone else, so they don't have to lose their soul.

 

Is it just me or Pablo seems like he's teasing an exciting scene in the future? The way he sounded like Kylo's piloting skills will play later significantly and it's bound to be amazing...

YES!!!! This is so true!!! They are the only characters that stare into the sunset, stars, sky, whatever!

 

Cool, thanks for clearing that up. Even I was confused by the end of VII. No seriously I hated Ren and thought he had to go. But then slowly but surely I ended up wanting to rip that suit right off of him and cover him in freaking kisses. Not to assume that Rey wants or will want to do the same. That's just me, the mofo grew on me after I was all against him being redeemed. I think very differently now, very differently indeed.

 

Maybe we will see another Force Vision but from Ben's point of view? Or maybe both Rey and Ben experience it at the same time; ending with a young Ben Solo?

 

My body is soooo ready for shared Force visions, you guys have no idea. I will probably start having heart palpitations in the theater.

 

Wonder if we will be able to find anyone who would be playing Young Ben? (Kind of like the Clan Leader/KOR thing on imdb)
