Any idea for a young Tahiri??

 

I was thinking what is your best "scene"/situation you love best of Tahiri, for me its when she had just been vongified and its about to kill Anakin, but then she slays her shapper.

What about you guys?

 

I like when he first comes back and sees her all grown up

Another idea i had was what song best suits Tahiri or her relationship with Anakin??? My song for them is "The Power of Goodbye" by Madonna

yeah.... That's my competion Lyrical number. I think of them whenever I hear it. Actually I think of all the NJo characters when I hear this

I prefer it when they're joking around and just having fun. Not so much a romantic thing.

 

sadly, i don't seem to have a favorite moment. I think i'm with Dev Binks on the moments when they're having fun

 

song: I've always like "You Stand Here with Me" by Creed for Ani and Tahiri

scene: I definitely like all the random scenes where she's skitzo just because it's intense.

Even though Tahiri herself says her merging does not make her a "super-Jedi," I still think she has like mad crazy untapped power by the merging. And, she also has Sand Raider skills too.
I theorize she could beat them all up if she wanted to.

 

Sand Raider? Do you mean Sand People/Tusken Raiders? Oh and they really didn't have anything special. They're just a nomadic tribe of people who have to raid and/or destroy human/alien settlements to survive. Sure they have their own combat techniques, but look at Earth, you have different combat techniques from China to Europe. Yet it would be hard to combine them, because one relies more on stealthy quick strikes, while the other relies on heavy handed broad strokes.

I see it as being the same in trying to combine the Tusken Raiders' style of fighting, to the Yuuzhan Vong style of combat. And the Yuuzhie style to the Jedi style, just because they were developed by different people. Now the Tusken and Jedi style I could see them being easily combined, since I'm sure that people on Tatooine learned from the Tuskens on combat, and Luke incorporated that into what he taught the Jedi.

Now I see the Yuuzhan Vong style as being that of Europe, very heavy handed, mostly using the sword to bash in anything that gets in its way. While the Jedi/Tusken style is that of the East, very smooth and flowing. Trying to get inside defenses. And stuff. So yeah, I doubt they could be combined that readily.

 

The tusken raiders are capable of surviving in the hot desert of Tantooine so that alone would give any individual, specially if your not a jedi a tremendous knowledge of survival, and Tahiri learned this even before becoming a Jedi.

Now for the fighting style of the Vong IMO they are not that different from the jedi fighting style, since they are depicted to be capable of standing their ground easily against the jedi. If the Vong style was more about bashing than fast fluid movements they would had been capable of stand their ground against a jedi strike, the bashing style gives a greater spaces that are undefended that the fast style is capable of taking advantage.

I saw a documentary about something like this that happened in England once in which the soldiers that used the fast and fluid motions where victorious against the opposing army that used bashing atacks.

Thus I can see Tahiri as a great swordman capable of beating anyone of them, plus the learnings she has from the tusken raiders added to the pain thresholds that the Vong gave her....

I think that the style the Vong use where more like the turkish people (sorry if I wrote it wrong)used during the crusades, while the jedi fighting style was more like tha oriental style so I do think it could be combined, and thus becoming a greater style than the three togheter.

BTW I found this disturbing thread in the lit forum, which I hope is just speculation since I think is time for Tahiri to become as important to SW as Jace, Jania, and Anakin ARE. What you guys think of it
