Sorry, work and life have been beating me with a stick lately. Taking care of a kid AND a full time job can get wild. I'm working on my post though, so I haven't forgotten!

Okay those couple of days dragged a bit too long... So, tomorrow I should be able to make the post

 

So having finished the caviar, am now on to the soup course... I think a nice, clear beef bouillon, to clear the palate before the fish course.

 

Okay I should pick up the speed before you lot eat everything on the train

 

I knew the boards were going down for maintenance, but at the back of my head is always the fear: what if they never go back up again??!!

Anyway, we've been using the PM for what this thread is intended for, which is fine, but I want to keep the thread alive.

So it is time for the fish course, and since the month has an "r" in it, I think I will go for the classic Coquilles St. Jacques, with a nice pre-war Veuve Cliquot.

 

I was kinda glad that they were down so thay I can use it as an excuse
