A cold chill descends within the newly founded Sith Temple. Darth Azathoth emerging from the shadows, the coldness emitting from him. His face was plain, neutral, and cold, the typical face he carried with himself on all serious matters. And to Azathoth almost all matters were serious.

"The Peon whose given name is Kato Sai Ban... approach..." his tone was soft, and yet it lingered and rasped in the frigid air, seemingly pulling at Kato's very being.

Tormentum came forth from having finished scrubbing the stones clean.

He knelt before Lord Azathoth (@Shadowsun).

“You summoned, Lord.”

 

Azathoth tilted his head behind him, looking to the thrones enshrined.

"Here me Lords of the Circle and our Emperor who sits on high, for this is done in your will,"

He bowed in turn to them, even if they were hidden in shadow, he knew they were there watching, waiting... ever-present. His attention turned back to the kneeling Kato, Azathoth's cold eyes taking in every movement of the man.

"Speak your true name"

The Peon bowed his head surrounded by an invisible crown of thrones that pressed into it as he uttered his name:

“Darth.. Tormentum.”

Darkness roiled around them both, like coiled snakes it latched itself between the two of them. The cold air swirled around them more intensely, pieces of ice forming ever so slowly on the edges of their clothing. The coils tightened them closer as their very beings were bonded together. Tied as they should be. The ties of a Master and his Apprentice. Azathoth gazed down at Tormentum, his Sith-coloured eyes filled with purpose and measure.

"We are bound in life and in death..."

His eyes glinted with venom and with pride. The very ghost of a smile forming on the corners of Azathoth's lips.

"You have proven yourself... worthy."

A pregnant pause.

"Arise as my Apprentice, arise as Darth Tormentum, arise as an acolyte of the True Sith Order!"

The cold then blasted away from them, the invisible coils seemingly gone.

"May you bring glory not only for myself as your Master, but also for the Order in all its splendor"

He then turned, his arms spreading outward as if in rapture.

"I present before all the Sith, the birth and resurrection of an Acolyte, of the Sith Darth Tormentum! May this please you as it has pleased me."

Tormentum felt the quickening, as he and his Master were now tethered as one. The darkness engulfing them.

He rose from his bow and with his saber cut the hanging excess of the chains from his belt of links, handing it to Master Azathoth.

“These chains I offer, show me how to break them in Victory my Master. Free me as only your teaching can. For I am reborn once more due to your benevolence. Darth Tormentum returns!”

Suddenly great red and orange flames rose from within the newly christened Acolyte, that burned away hidden marks on his skin that had read, “blasphemer, fallen one, and unworthy.” All of these he had etched in blood upon himself when he had lapsed, and fallen from grace, from the Order.

“Master Moon, I am at your command. My sun shall blaze and bring light through you, to glorify you! To glorify the Empire!” Still in rapture the Acolyte said:
“Aureole Kia azathoth! Aureole Kia Nuyak Meistras! Aureole Kia Tave Auksta Darths! Aureole Kia Tave Aeuso!
Glory to Azathoth! Glory to my Master! Glory to the Circle Lords! Glory to the Empire!”

I’d kiss your hand in courtly fashion but that may be misconstrued, and I now an Acolyte once more don’t want to become an Azanti snack.

We do have baby shower plans to discuss. Like a theme, if you want something more traditional or something Sithesque and out of Alice and Wonderland meets Corpse Bride.
