The USSS serves trump until January 20th after that they’ll escort him out of the office if he doesn’t leave on his own accord. The USSS is not loyal to Trump. They won’t side with him if he throws a fit. Sure there are some who might go along with it since they personally like Trump, but it isn’t a majority.

The USSS won’t try to hurt him either since they still will serve him at least some of them. Unless he refuses USSS protection which one can do.

 

It's not like the morning of Jan 20, Trump's just not gonna get out of bed. Or refuse to start packing. Or just say he's not done eating lunch yet.

Or like the USCC doesn't have hundreds of protocols to start welcoming the Biden family into the WH. There's probably a million pieces of paperwork, sign-offs, rules, whatever that we never really hear about because it's tedious and runs like clockwork. Movers, packers, cleaners, declassification, who knows, the entire admin staff needs to be gone gone gone. The entire WH is set up before hand knowing exactly what the Biden family want, they probably start meeting w them in advance, and go over things.

So it's not like like Trump and whatever USSS that are loyal to him are just gonna say no at 12:01. Surprise. We're staying.

I don’t think refusing to leave on Jan 20 is the most realistic scenario and it definitely wasn’t what I asked about.
Before that, if he tries to use his essentially unchecked power as CIC to order the military to do something crazy (say blockade the Capitol bldg), what happens?

WASHINGTON – Several Senate Republicans have broken with the Trump administration to argue that President-elect Joe Biden should get access to classified intelligence briefings, even though the president continues to contest the election results.

Sen. James Lankford, an Oklahoma Republican, said he will intervene if the Trump administration doesn’t start allowing Biden to receive the daily intelligence briefings by Friday.

Incoming presidents typically have access to those assessments during the transition, so they can be prepared to deal with any national security threats on day one.

"This needs to occur so that regardless of the outcome of the election, whichever way that it goes, people can be ready for that actual task," Lankford told Tulsa radio station KRMG on Wednesday.

“If that’s not occurring by Friday, I will step in,” said Lankford, who sits on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Sometime after GA results roll in, he creates a national security crisis, maybe attack another country, or with the pandemics help ushers in lockdowns, or by refusing to concede which results in massive protests, and then declares an national emergency, or a lockdown/martial law...to stop the crisis/pandemic/Antifa-Dems. He then takes command of the military and intel as if it were war time, under the belief that as CIC he can dictate the military to protect him for another term, or as long as he sees fit.

It would be insane. And then the FBI and US Marshalls would show up to 'kindly' escort the trespassers from the property. USSS would no longer obey or protect him after noon on Jan 20. And the crazy loyalists who did...would find themselves headed where Donnie is soon going.

 

The constitution states @Kiki Jinn that Trump terms ends on January 20th at noon EST. This is all theater as Trump even admits it's over, just likes the spectacle and again needs to get the new con going fast because he is broke and has nothing but indictments and creditors waiting for him post presidency.

If any of them @Jedi Knight Fett go along with any coup, they will be tried and convicted of treason which again comes with an execution sentence. None of them will do that for him. Again this is all just a spectacle to please one person who spent the morning screaming about cable news ratings as a pandemic just rages. Oh and the dude is depressed and it just is going to get bigger the moment he gets escorted out of the White House as being the trifecta loser president (lost the popular vote twice, served one term and was impeached) and I think along with everything else is going to weigh him down. I honestly worry about DJT and more about his "movement" being able to nominate someone who is not a complete clown and is competent. Because that person can do damage to the country that truly can never be fixed. That is my worry long term, not what DJT does.
