I personally don't see what all the fuss is about with needing more Star Wars films. When the TV stuff is good, it's as good as the films. And people like to talk about the magic of cinema, of seeing something on the biggest screen possible in the company of a large audience, but I ain't lyin when I tell you the most magical viewing experience I've ever had was when that first episode of The Mandalorian beamed directly into my home and I could watch it blissfully unspoiled and without all the rigamarole of packing everybody off to a theater.

The first episode of Mando was indeed when my Star Wars fandom truly sparked back to life. And then episode two made it a blazing fire.

It also happened to me with Rogue One, but I thought it was a one-off, and so it didn’t point a way for the future.

TFA, on the other hand, and the rest of the ST, was so disappointing that they dampened my interest in Star Wars. So I thank Kathleen for the Disney Plus shows. They got me obsessed with Star Wars again.

Thats ok, some of the tv shows the have dissapointed me worse then the Sequels ever could. If anything i see the Sequels as improvement of the tv shows. Only Andor and Mandalorian season 1-2 might be better. TLJ to me is the best Star Wars had been along with Andor. Kenobi, Boba, Ahsoka and Mandalorian season 3 is downgrade compared to the Sequels for me.

To me, the sequels are worse than the worst of the TV shows. I even like the Slow Vespa Chase episode of BoBF better. And the Lizzo and Jack Black episode of Mando.

Thats weird thought you had High standards, lol. I could never rank them higher then the Sequels. More like Holiday special, they are almost that bad.

For the sake of the Star Wars franchise and its need for new movies, I am putting forth a radical proposal: Kathleen Kennedy must be fired immediately

How very radical of you, given that every other reactionary mouth breather online is clamoring for the same thing.

Go for the throat. Fire Mickey (or Minnie since she's really the one running things).

I would actually argue that the very title of this thread is flawed from an objective, flow of time sense, and in fact the wait between films is even now, with every moment that passes, growing ever shorter.

Time in this thread is like time in the threads of a magnificent giant rug of infinite length. As the rug is rolled up, its length becomes shorter, and momentum takes over, making it faster and faster, bowling down everything in its path like a rolling pin of the gods, and the gravitational intensity of this growing and spinning juggernaut stretches and pulls everything in until the distance from one edge of the universe to the other is merely the same as this rug's unspecified width.
