Okay, well I'm definitely going to be there on Sunday. Might possibly not be there till a bit after 6, but probably will be on time. I'll put up the bat signal when I'm on my way by way of letting you know.

I will be in need of a lift home from someone, what with my car out of commission and all. Can someone help me out with that?

In other news, the new cinemas at Victoria Point are huge. However, they aren't fully armed and operational. Though that may change by next week.

Seats are comfy too, for those of us with spines composed of solidified granite.

On a related note, 300 comes out next week (Thursday, 5 April). It may just be the film to use as an excuse for an excursion.

Aw dang, stupid Holy Thursday Sorry I will be at mass that night.

But what I was going to say was if an excursion is organised for 300, I'd make sure I finished the 300 lemmings pic.

Of course, that is contigent on me actually having lots of sewing and uni work done, and having some money to spare...

 

Unfortunately the "V" night has been postponed, due to something popping up for IC, IRL. TehBoon extends its apologies.

Its just gone midnight btw. Have quieted the soul sufficiently that my brain can again speak and put words together to properly explain, & apologise to GOOBS for the alarming outburst he copped earlier.

I am on standby to drive up to Ayr. My 85yrs-come-Easter-Tuesday Mum - yep, same one that is still recovering from near-fatal hip replacement just a few months ago, decided to MOP THE FLOOR, slipped on the wet tiles and .... so far, we know she's broken her right wrist in two places .. and I'm waiting on word about the rest. I'm beyond coherent thought trying to comprehend what she was thinking by risking herself like that when she spent nearly all last year hospitalised as it was ... and to hear from her specialist taht she was told nearly a week ago to see her regular GP for a special fluid tablet and still hasnt done that ... all as the anniversary of my cousin's suicide looms .... welcome to just a fraction of a hint of my life's ongoing turmoil the likes which you really CANT imagine ... people wonder why I'm always such a mess ....

ANYWAY. Even if i dont end up leaving sometime tonight or tomorrow, I'm extremely emotional, will be wiped out and have no desire to inflict my misery onto others. I've vitoed the V night in expectation of needing quiet and rest during the day if I'm to function at work on Monday.

And... most of this probably belongs in YNWS... sorri.

EDIT: ooooh of course, forgot to add this year should have been my 10th Wedding Anniversary .. geezuz... just send a gun.

Really sorry to hear all that, IC. *Big hugs* Hang in there. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, though I doubt there is.

 

We really should lock up our Mums and Grandmothers for their own good sometimes. I did my Nan's shower the other day, just knowing she was going to attempt it herself with probably the same results.

Hope the drive isn't necessary for you IC, and that the rest of the day can bring any sort of peace that you really do need. HUG.

There's afree showing of Sunshine on at the Myer Centre on Wednesday for Supanova ticket holders! Not sure I'd pay to see this movie, but for free???
